Update #5: Crystal Palace (Part 1)
May 12th, 2012
We woke up at 6:15 am this morning and I surprisingly didn’t have any trouble getting out of bed. IT WAS OUR FIRST FULL DAY IN DISNEY!!!
I took a shower, got dressed, put on make up, watched Stacey, and caught up on the trip journal.
The Frumps and our queen:
Kristen wanted me to take a picture of her Magic Kingdom Park Map bow! We are HUGE fans of that site magicalribbons.tumblr.com. If you have never seen it, go check it out! It is INCREDIBLE! This girl creates Disney inspired bows and trust me, you’re going to want to buy them all. I know that Kristen and I definitely have an addiction!
At 7:30 am we left the room! Here’s a little Saratoga ambiance picture:
We went to the Congress Park bus stop and a very cheerful CM chatted with us about Wishes and our birthday buttons!
The bus came and it was one with the orange seats. It was Katie’s first Disney bus ride EVER! How monumental. The bus smelled SO good and we basically had it all to ourselves! There was only one other family on board.
We arrived at the Magic Kingdom and there was barely anyone there yet! It was only about 8 am so the park was nice and empty!
THE AVENGERAIL!
We had to activate our military tickets, and once that was all situated we entered the magical of all Magic Kingdoms! WELCOME HOME!
Look at this deer face. I was SO READY.
We walked down Main Street and took some pictures! This was Katie’s first time ever seeing the Castle! She thought it was very pretty.
But I honestly think I was even more excited… or maybe I’m just a huge frump. Or both!
WE’RE BACK ON MAIN STREET USA!
And it was EMPTY!
The Main Street Bakery and the Chapeau were under some serious construction. It’s an eye sore now, but I always remember that Disney is does construction so things look better in the future!
Crystal Arts is looking glorious, though! Disney, I love what you’ve done with the place.
CASTLE PHOTO SHOOT TIME:
Kristen was very proud of this symmetry:
Hello, Beautiful!
