DD18 and I went to see this last night. I couldn't tear DH away from the game, so off she and I went. We both enjoyed it immensely. There are a few parts that were a little overdone, but for the most part it was very good. It's a true story and I cried several times throughout. Hillary Swank is awesome and Patrick Dempsey was just an added bonus.

LOVED IT!!! I work with similar programs (Im on the humanitarian board) and I have some great ideas now!

I'll probably have to wait for this one to go to video and watch it all alone, just like all the other movies that don't have guns, cars, or cartoon characters in them.

I very reluctantly went to this movie. I ended up loving it! I don't want to give away any surprises but the class' guest speaker was awesome!

I may go see it. DS13 wants to see it though. It looks like it's a good movie, but seems like most of the "true high school" stories they've had before. The first movie that came to mind when I first saw the trailer was Dangerous Minds.

I took my 13-year-old to see it. There was violence and some bad language, but it was mild compared to some of the things I've seen on tv.

It is a lot like other "true high school" stories, (a little too uplifting and unbelievable at times) but, overall, I enjoyed it.
