The folks at JWL Media/Mousesteps are really quick to get our video up that was recorded this afternoon. Disney calls this the "Holiday Golf Cart Extravaganza" now - Ed calls it the 'Christmas Golf Cart Parade.' The video is 7.5 minutes long and it looks like it was a lovely day.

That was amazing. I think my favorite three were the gingerbread house, the cart that had the full-size Christmas tree on top and the one that looked like a real house. That's amazing. Thank you for sharing that.

It is amazing, @Kite16510 . The creativity of campers and cabin guests at FW knows no bounds. And it's obvious that a LOT of the parade participants put a LOT of thought and ideation into their designs.

Also amazing was I put up this thread the same day (Christmas Eve) the parade ran before I went to Christmas Eve mass and 24 hours later (the afternoon of Christmas Day) it had over 2,000 views! . And the Christmas Recreation and Activities post I made got over 1,000 views. Plus the movies and activities post for November and December has over 2,000 views.

Only New Years is left. For the time being....

PS - Maybe the cabin conversion to DVC has brought in a bunch of new guests unfamiliar with the Fort vibe which we are happy to share with them what they're getting into. Cabin folks (of any era) are part of the FW history (past and present).

From https://www.magicalresortguide.com/fort-wilderness-holidays/easter they show what happened this past April 2025. There were a couple events on Easter Sunday.

There's no guarantee that any events might carry over year-after-year. Also the "Meadow Recreation Area" referenced on the 2025 list might be the big field next to the Meadow Pool that is currently a construction zone for the Zero Entry pool. So I don't know 'where' or 'what' but I bet they will plan something again for next Easter.

Nice. Thanks for the share, Ed. It’s that time of year where I start to really miss the fort. Hubby and I watched some you tube videos last night to see what others have filmed and shared (mostly looking for updates) and was wondering if there would be one done by the well informed, Bama Ed.
