The "Food Porn" thread

I just wanted to tell everyone thank you for sharing your food pictures. It took me 4 whole days (at work to get through it!!! )
My DH called me today and asked what I was doing and I told him that I was going through the "food porn". I won't even repeat what he said. When I explained when it was all about WDW food, he couldn't stop laughing. (I tried to take pics of the food on our 6/05 vacation and he was shamed). He found it totally laughable that "other people" were also taking pictures of their food. I calmly explained that this is a common practice for DIS'ers. He looked at me like I was nuts! ( Well, I am, but that is another story!! )

Anywho...to try and make a long story short... our 15th anniversary is next March. Friends of ours are getting married in the Bahamas in June - of which he wants to go. I tried to explain that "our anniversary" should not interfere with their wedding.

Then, I pulled the trump card....I suggested going back to Disney... just the two of us. He mulled it around, but still isn't sure.

I NEED ALL OF YOUR HELP TO GIVE ME REASONS OF WHY WE SHOULD DO THIS!!!

You know, Food Porn is still just fantasy for us at this point. The term Porn does adequately describe it, since it's unattainable, but it's fun to imagine that we might at some point. Now a nice quiet romantic dinner at the Coral Reef, or Jiko, or California Grill would be lovely, if only we could have someone to take our wonderful kids for a few nights. Now if it were just the two of you, you could act out some of those dining fantasies.... Hmmmmm
