The first week of May anyone been...crowd weather opinions?!

Anyone have their personal stories or examples I tried reading different websites but some want you to pay for said information so I thoight I asked my friends here!

What do you guys think?

I went last year May 10th to 20th, and weather was perfect! No guarantee for this year, but I'd return in early May.

You can find crowd level predictions on many sites. I find easywdw.com has reliable ones, as well as good park recommendations for each day.

Early May is a great time to go. We went a couple of times. Weather is warm but not yet too hot, crowds are manageable (4,5,6), and we didn't see much rain at all on either trip

We went the second week of May, and the temps were in the mid-90s....much too hot for me. The crowds weren't bad though.

I've gone the first half of May many times. Temps can go into the low 90's but little rain. Not as humid as summer. Crowds are moderate.

We went the first week of May in 2012, crowd levels were quite manageable imo. The weather was hotter then I prefer but not nearly as bad as when we went in the summer.

We always go around the first of May, temps are great, warm but not too hot and very reasonable crowds. Rained almost everyday we were there last year but that is not normal, just a fluke.

Just avoid the studios on May 4th.

We have been the last few years in May and will be there this year April 25- May 3rd. I think it is a great time to go. Not too crowded and while hit not too hot.

Our first trip to WDW was the first week of May, 2010. The crowds were perfect, to me, but it was extra hot that year. Even the locals were complaining that it shouldn't be that hot already. In the low 90's almost every day.

We went back the first week of April and the third week of October after that. I won't risk it being that hot again, we were miserable. (But we were at Disney, so it was better than being at home, that's for sure.)

We went the week prior to Memorial Day in 2011. It was pretty warm, but crowds weren't bad at all. Liked it so much that we planned this trip for the exact same time.

Taking into account that we have only visited in late April, early May I think it is the best time to go. We have always had amazing weather, little to no rain, hot but not humid, but we like it hot so we can visit the water parks. The crowds have always seemed very manageable (also take into account I have not been since 2011). Heading there this year from May 2-11 and we can't wait

My family went last year May 5-10 which I think was Mon-Sat. Weather was perfect, warm and sunny but not brutal. Crowds were manageable but we didn't do parks on Sat our departure day or a Sun. We skipped our AK day to opt for TL instead and that was a good move, a whole day mostly off our feet chilling out at the water park. We had hoppers so late afternoon one day we hopped from Epcot to AK just to ride Everest then skipped back out for our dinner reservation. Take advantage of eve. emh, we did so much at HS our first night there, pretty cool to be on ToT at midnight One thing that did help us a lot was to have dining reservations particularly at lunch time. Never under estimate the restorative power of a one hour lunch in air conditioning and rehydrating. Epcot Flower and Garden show was pretty cool last May too. I would go then again in a heartbeat.

My parents took my oldest son May 1-5 2013 and we went April 30-May 4 2014. Both years got a little chilly at night (to the point I bought a zip up). 2013 was windy to the point where it made swimming uncomfortable. Last year rained. A lot. But the crowds were great and we loved it, so we are going back April 30-May 9 this year!
