Hi everyone!

Well, due to your suggestions, I ordered the FIRM tapes. They arrived last night. Included with them was a offer for the fanny lifter for $29.95 and the Sculpting Stick for $29.95. I've searched the web this morning, and that seems to be a VERY good price. My question is, do I need them? I really want to see some results! I'm looking to jump start my metabolism and lose 25 lbs. I know that's not much for most of you, but if I don't get started soon, I know it will soon become 35 lbs, 45 lbs...........

So, do I call and place the order?

I have never tried these products. If you decide to take the special offer please let me know if they work for you. Lord knows, my fanny needs all the help it can get :)

I have used the Fanny Lifter and oh my gosh:eek:  my booty BURNED the next day. It really has helped to increase my strength. I just got the stick...you can order the tapes that use the stick seperately if you already have the old set w/ the FL on their website.

IMO The Firm is not The Firm without the Fanny Lifter. I guess there are some Firm tapes that don't require it, but to me, it is the core of their program. Not sure about needing the stick as I think you can substitute dumbells for the stick, but the stick is probably easier. Aren't there sets out there like at Target where you get the whole thing (tapes, Fanny Lifter) for $59.99?

I got the old set from a local Sporting Goods store that came with the fanny lifter but not the stick. My sister has just the tapes. I don't know how she does it without the fanny lifter. She might use the stairs in her house. It's true what they say, "There is NO substitute for the fanny lifter!" It really works your butt. And those exercises where you lean over on it and lift your legs, well, I guess you can get down on all fours and lift, but with the fanny lifter, it's easier to lean on it and that way you really can concentrate on lifting those legs instead of trying to balance your body while lifting.

I don't have the new tapes that use the stick, so I don't really see the need for it, maybe if I had those tapes. They use dumb bells in my tapes and that's what I use.

I love my Firm tapes. They are a great aerobic and weight training workout. If you have any questions ask!

Thanks again everyone! I'll be making that call to order them today! I just bought a set of DVDs and the set didn't come with the fanny lifter, so buying a set that does seems foolish at this point. Everywhere I've checked, the fanny lifter by itself is $59.95. The stick is going for $49.95 I think, so each for $29.95 seems like a good deal, as long as the shipping is reasonable!
I'm looking forward to feeling the "burn", but I'm gonna try out the tape tonight without the lifter to at least get started!:smooth:

I bought my first set of FIRM tapes at Best Buy at really reasonable price. It didn't include the fanny lifter. I used a sturdy child' chair as a substitute. It worked OK, but there were some limitations. I purchased my second set of tapes from the FIRM website and bought a fannylifter. I can't imagine doing without it. It is stable and fully adjustable, in that it offers three different levels: purple(low)blue(medium) and purple-on-blue(high). The last set of tapes would not have worked w/o the fanny lifter. The weighted stick does not interest me. I have several different sets of free weights & I'm happy with them. If you are committed to the FIRM, you should have a fannylifter. If you are unsure of your committment, use a stool or other substitute until the additional $30 is worth it.
