The financially irresponsible WDW trip! [June 25th: p.45, posts 668 & 669]

Settle down Jo. Settle down. You're spilling popcorn all over my TR :lmao:

Kathy (RN) -Thanks for the nudge!! Keeping me on my toes. :thumbsup2

Cathy (twob4him) - That's cool that you were here!! Glad you liked it. :) And you were in Jo's neck of the woods too! Sounds like a great holiday.

MommySiobhan - I hear ya! Nobody could pronounce our DD's name when we were in the U.S. It's a tough one to pronounce but it sounds so like another name. So I think we just ended up calling her that instead by the end of the trip.

I don't know when I'm going to get the next chapter finished :( Work is killing me this week. It all comes together. But I'll get on it soon, I promise. :thumbsup2

I just found this report and have spent half the night (and part of the morn) reading! So good! Thanks! The latest installment is making me itch for September to come so we can do our first MNSSHP!

Keep them coming!

This is great! Yours is the first trip report that I've read thus far, and I'm enjoying it thoroughly! Great work!

I'm just adoring your trip report. I stayed up half the night just to read it, then once I got my DD off to school, I headed straight for the computer. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

:rolleyes1 I have been waiting so patiently. I know you said work is keeping you busy, but c'mon here, where's your priorties?:lmao:

I'm loving the report! Your family is so funny!

I lived in Spiddal, Ireland for a while in college and spent quite a bit of time in Galway. I also toured aorund to many other cities while I was there and JUST LOVED IT!!!! I consider it my second home (well, maybe third after Disney).

Glad I'm not the only one who stays on the computer into the wee hours (sometimes!). :) I'm very flattered - thanks!! :flower3: Oh, lucky you!! September won't be long coming around. You're gonna love MNSSHP!! :cloud9:

Wow what a detailed report. keep it coming keep it coming.
Christine

Hey Christine  Thanks for being diplomatic and calling it "detailed" :lmao: I'm sure there are plenty of other choice words one could use to describe the obsessive over-the-top details in some chapters. :teeth: Thanks! More on the way soon!!!

Oh wow!! Did you go to university in Galway? I love the west of Ireland, it's really lovely in parts. I always find it amazing that so many people still speak fluent Irish in Spiddal. Glad to have you on board!! :)

jns - Yay! How nice to have a 'local' reading! ;) I recognise your nick from the UK board and you were kind enough to answer me in my post asking about Continental Airlines some months back. Hope your trip was great too! I see from your sig that you're going back in a few months! And you bought into DVC!! Wow! I am so jealous! But also pleased for you. :) I am dying to become a member - mind if I pick your brains at some point about joining DVC from abroad? Do you ever feel a bit isolated loving Disney (and knowing it so well) when you're so far from it and most people from here just book a package and go there once? Does this make sense? It's just that I try to avoid talking about it these days cause friends and family think I'm a bit nuts wanting to go back there repeatedly!! Thanks for reading!!

solgent - !!

just getting back to your TR , started at the beginning again now on the first day at the boardwalk
so looks like a long night
I know what you mean about been isolated , I've haven't told anyone here about been a DVC member yet and at this stage just tell peole that we are heading to the states
booked tickets for MNSSHP yesterday so very excited about that now

This is my 2000th post!! :woohoo:

To celebrate I've added Mickey Ears to Beaker in my avatar. :cloud9: Hope you like it! :teeth:

Being a total nerd 'n all, I took a screenshot of this before it moves quickly along to my 2001st post.

:yay: :woohoo:
how did you do that
just past my 4000th post would have loved to have kept it

Ok have spent the night reading the rest of your report ,I need MORE PLEASE

I love your trip report. The funny part is, when you posted pics of your little girl I just couldn't believe what I was seeing! :scared1: I gave birth to her twin about a year after her!!!!! :confused3 My daughter looks SO much like yours (she is only 1/2 Irish though)!

I tried to post a pic so you could see but my post count is too low to post a pic! :sad1: I guess I'll go post so I can get my count up!

I am only about 1/2 way through the report so far so I'll go back to reading. Thanks for posting it!

Okay, I did it! Now I should have enough posts to post a picture. Here is a picture of my little girl (she will be 2 in July). This isn't a great pic but you can see how they look so much alike. My last post said she was 1/2 Irish, I meant 1/4 Irish (I am 1/2).

Holy crap ya'll, I'm getting a cavity from all the cute kids on here! I always wanted a dark headed baby but doubt that'll happen since DH and I were both towheads as babes. Maybe that Caudill gene will come through and give our kid/s (when we have 'em) some dark hair!

Adorable!

Ok time for another chapter Deb! Your fans NEED it!

(ps - I love your "details" you save them, I type like that then go back and erase it all.)

Ok I spent all last night, an hour before work this morning, and a good 4 hours this evening reading these trip reports!!! Where to begin! The peanut confections!?! LOL :rotfl2: But now that I think about it, my exhusband grew up with marzipan filled candies--even the ones geared to children. (Austrian) No peanuts.... Too funny. :lmao:

I love your trip report, please, please, I need more!!! :flower3:

My dad and brother are headed to Ireland to hike in 10 days!!

I can't wait o drive my son around Ireland one day and hike too.

Your family is beautiful and I LOVE the minutae... Did your school teachers write "TOO VERBOSE" with a flourish in bright red across your essays too?:rolleyes1

Hi Jackie!! Oh you're gonna go to MNSSHP!! Excellent!! :woohoo:

I doubt I'd tell too many people if we join DVC either. They'll just think we got sucked into a timeshare scheme. Timeshares have such a bad reputation in Europe I can imagine the reaction.

how did you do that

You know the way you can take a screen shot (or screen grab) of what's on your desktop? I just did that and cut out the relevant bit. :thumbsup2

Oh wow! That sounds great. My brother is big into hiking and hill climbing. Lots of good areas around here for it. We love camping ourselves but not so much the hiking. lol!!
