The FINAL (?!) Jodi Arias thread (Penalty Phase retrial verdict)

Don't know if it is true, but reports say Jodi's original verdict may get overturned.

I don't think this could be true. Only way original verdict could get overturned now is through an appeals process. This jury cannot overturn the verdict from the previous jury and trials. Which I'm sure will be next. Not only did the defense team file all those motions to try and get the case dismissed or mistrial, but they have all become grounds for appeals now. You can bet they will appeal every motion that was denied during this trial.

Defense would have to file a motion for that. With so many motions filed already, I wouldn't be surprised if they have already. If I recall, there have been similar motions filed and all have been denied. Setting them up for appeal.

In time for another trial for the next one to be born, it would not be a trial with out that! lol

Do you know who Honest Toddler is? Honest Toddler is actually a Nigerian woman living in Canada who tweets from the point of view of a toddler. HILARIOUS! All about how unfair life is, in his view (I see the toddler as a boy, altho she bases it on her toddler daughter). Honest Toddler is also on FB, and has a book out. I get the tweets sent to my phone and then send them to my DH. Both DDs also follow her. Check it out "in your spare time." *ducks*

Love it! I love the references to drinking wine.

One of my favorites was (not a direct quote)..."Sundays are for pinterest projects. Not doing them, pinning them." That's so me.

Also, about Sundays being the day for "angry cleaning". Or when "she" (the mom) announced that it was a "me day" and HT excitedly runs around looking for his good Crocs for HIS "me day", only to see "her" tearing out of the driveway and down the street without him. Too funny. There might be a show based on it, but I'm not sure it can be carried in a show; it would really need to be done right.
