The February Curse

Last time we decided to go to WDW in February, DS broke his leg 3 days before we were to leave. Look at my countdown. We had to take our dog into the vet today. He requires major surgery on his ear, and he may have torn the major ligament in his leg, thus requiring a separate operation. Can we say "as much money as we've already spent on the trip?" Is there a scream smiley?

Don't mind me, just needed to vent, and maybe hoping for some PD. We won't know about the surgery on his leg until he's under for his ear.

I've got that curse too! I had my wallet stolen last week and all my ID was in it so I am frantically trying to replace everything before the 28th of Feb or I won't be able to leave the country. Also our dog become ill last year one day before we got home...he had major surgery on the day we got back (1500.00) and passed away that afternoon....it was brutal. I feel your pain.
This definately calls for Pixie dust for you and me both!

Pkitty, that is nasty. You do what you can for your pets, but sometimes it just doesn't affect the outcome. Hope you have no problems with your replacement ID, you should be able to get everything by then. PD back at ya!

My warm thoughts for your trip and your pooch. Our dog is very old and many things are happening to her so I know how it feels to have a sick furry friend ... I hope all turns out well.
