I found this board a couple months ago, and only just now got back on to it. I've never made a post before, but my family is cruising 10/27. Is it too late to join this group? We've cruised almost every year since 1999 & would be great to meet up with other people. If it isn't too late - what do I need to do?

Welcome to the meet thread.

We have closed a few things, the lanyards and the scavenger hunt, but please join the roll call. We plan on having a meet the first day, we also have a Facebook group. You would need to PM Bmickey or staceylou your name and a description of your picture. You do need 10 posts to send a PM but feel free to make the posts here.

If you are interested in the FE we can start a third group for the late joiners, the first two groups are closed.

I started a third FE group. Hopefully more people will join. We do have a facebook group that is a bit more active then the thread. To join you need to PM your info to me, BMickey, or StaceyLou and we can add you to the group.

I have posted the Final FE printable lists on our little website HERE.

I am also trying to keep updated news on there along with links to shore excursions etc.... I just thought that this might be am easy way to keep track of and locate information. If I have posted anything that someone does not want me to put on the website, then please let me know & I will remove it.

I figured it would all be o.k. since I have only posted information that is listed here on these boards & these boards are all public.

If anyone has anything that they would like me to add to our little website, for easy access, then just let me know & I will be glad to add it.

More information on themed nights, times and locations will be available onboard in the Personal Navigator that will be delivered to your stateroom.

While all Guests are invited to wear costumes, we ask that you choose costumes that are not obstructive or offensive. I totally agree with gilsan on this. As much as I would like to join the 3rd group, I just don't think that I will be able to join. I will have to get my other FE gifts finished up first & see if it is even possible for me to join. I don't think I will have enough gifts if I do.

As far as the cut off date for the 3rd group maybe it should be 2 weeks before for people going to WDW prior to the cruise? gilsan... will you even be around a week before the cruise to update this board with new FE members? Just throwing all that out there. I'm o.k. with the vote from group 3 since I probably won't be joining anyway.

ATTN: everyone that ordered lanyards. The cost of the lanyards came in lower than I had estimated.

I have purchased 4 Disney gift cards with the remaining money and will draw DIS board names (from the lanyard orders) during our first night meet up to win the gift cards. Each card is not a large sum of money but would at least buy a nice pin to put on your lanyard. Hey, I never turn away Disney gift cards.

Please have one member from your party present in case your name is drawn we can hand you the gift card. If nobody is present from your group, we will have to draw another name to win the gift card. Watch here, Facebook or the website. for more details on the first night meet up.

What about the end of September for the cut off date for the third and final fe list? If it is less than say 8-10 people we should put them with group 2. We only have 12 new people in group 2. The people in group 3 still need time to do there gifts. I think the end of this month should be the final ending for the fe.

What does everybody think about this?
