The Fantasy surf and turf trip has started

We're in the Aspire Lounge at Gatwick at the moment so I thought I would take advantage of the free wifi and do a quick live preview of my trip report.

We had a good run down to Gatwick yesterday, got our bags dropped off nice and easily and had a good night's sleep in the Hilton. We normally stay overnight at the Sofitel but I would certainly stay at the Hilton again if the price was right. We did notice the aircraft noise a lot more than we do at the Sofitel though - I don't know if anyone else has found that?

Security wasn't busy this morning so we were through straight away and were allowed into the lounge half an hour early, which was handy. We've got about an hour and a half until the gate opens for boarding and then we will be on our way.

I'll try and do some more live updates through the week if I can, but if not there will be a trip report when I get back.

We have arrived safely and we are now at the Radisson Resort for the night. We managed to beat one of the Virgin flights but we were behind the other one so there was a bit of a queue at immigration. We avoided the car hire desks though and got a free upgrade on our hire car from Budget so all good there.

We will be off to bed soon and then it's the big day tomorrow.

Well we are now off the ship after a fantastic week and I have lots to share in the trip report but, now that we have reliable Internet again I thought I would give you a sneak peek of a few photos.
