The Fantasy altering itinerary

There's a tropical storm (Franklin) brewing out near Mexico this morning, so The Fantasy is not going to make the Cozumel stop.
Today, instead there will be an extra sea day.
There will be some higher seas of course, thats always fun for the guests.
Hope it doesn't get too bad for those prone to seasickness.

How disappointing for the cruisers. We had an altered itinerary once. It was a disappointment for sure. But better to be safe always.

Last October, Hurricane Matthew made our 7-night Western Caribbean on Disney Fantasy into the inaugural 8-night. My family was thrilled to have the extra sea day, and we were even happier when Castaway Cay got changed to Cozumel part II, as we do not care for the overrated DCL island. The vast majority seemed to get off at the second Cozumel stop, so we stayed on the ship and enjoyed the amenities with much fewer people onboard.

I'd gladly trade Cozumel for another sea day.
