Hard to believe it was really Saturday (we technically didn't leave until Sunday but seeing as we left at 7:15 a.m. on Sunday I considered Saturday our last day of Magic!!)

Finally a day to sleep in!!:o :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We slept in, and then me and my little one brought back "breakfast in bed" to my husband and older son from the Food Court (they were thrilled!!).

Then my husband took the boys to the pool for the whole day. POFQ has a GREAT POOL. That slide is so amazing (I even went down it a few times during the week).

I went to the gift shop to pick up some last minute gifts and a magazine and then headed to the laundry (the place was totally empty, I had read that it was hard to get a machine  ).

I filled 3 machines with our things and then filled up my mug and sat under one of the umbrella tables and quietly read my magazine while my husband played at the pool with the boys. Before I knew it was lunch time. I turned the laundry over and then got hot dogs and nachos at the pool bar and suprised the boys (all 3 of them) so all they had to do was get out of the pool and sit on the patio to eat and then hop back in!! I then brought all the finished laundry back to the room and (believe it or not this day was enjoyable for me, peace/quiet!!). I packed up everything but what we needed (so nice to get home and have all clean folded clothes and no laundry to do!!). Then the boys finally came back around 3:00 (yikes, are those my boys with thos tomato red faces?? Uh, was there a daddy at the pool that might have thought a little more sunscreen was in order?). "Huh, they don't look red?". (You should see the photos from that night, beat red!!). We had PS's that night at Liberty Tree Tavern (this was fun, the characters were all up beat and played around with us a lot.) Then we toured Liberty Square ( it is so pretty) and staked out a spot for SpectroMagic (this was the only night of the whole week that they were having it so we were glad to see it). Along came SpectroMagic, fabulous, and then we slowly walked back to the buses. We started out week with Magic Kingdom and it was fitting to end it there with SpectroMagic. We were sad though :( .

DAY 8 (post-Disney)
Up and in the car by 7:15 a.m. on the road. We were all sad when drove under the entrance sign, we really didn't want to go!! The husband and I felt motivated, so we drove straight through to Massachusetts an arrived home at 5:30 a.m. Monday morning....our labs were thrilled to see us. And then, it was back to reality:D

Back to reality is always the hardest part.

Thanks for sharing your Disney time with us!

your trip sounded wonderful. We'll be at POFQ with 8 and 5 year old grands in June, can't wait. They're going to love that pool. Thanks for your news and views. Glad you had fun.

Just finished reading your reports.

What a fun trip! Very much like we like to do things - we are leaving in three days and I can't wait!

WOW! What a great report. Looks like you took things at just the right speed.

Thanks for your trip reports! I really enjoyed reading them! :)

great trip reports!

your next trip...i'll bet your boys would like the character breakfast in AK...donald's breakfastosaurus! my DH and i did this one on our honeymoon. it was a last minute decision (AK wasn't opening for another hour and we were starving!) and it was the best character interaction that we'd had the whole week! our waiter was fabulous!! and the food was great too! we had done chef mickey's earlier in the week and thought it was ok, but we will make it a point to do donald's breakfast every time!!

My family also spent a week at Walt Disney World, last week, and left Sunday morning. I got teary-eyed leaving the Magic Kingdom after the night-parade, Saturday night, because both my boys are teenagers, and it is going to be many years before we can go again. The parade was awesome. I hadn't seen a night parade at Magic Kingdom since I was a teenager.
You did all your laundry, there? Mine's still sitting at home in my bedroom waiting to be sorted out.

I enjoyed reading your trip report! Thanks for posting it!

Loved all your trip reports. You folks had a most magical week! Thanks so much for sharing!

Don't ever talk about the Magic Ending and driving away from the Disney World Entrance sign. That is the worst feeling. You made me experience it all over again! : (

I LOVED your trip reports. Thank you so much for all the details and humor. It sounds like you had a fantastic time. I loved the idea of doing the laundry like that. Makes going home from Disney a little easier.
