Glad you got to see Wilderness Lodge! Still my favorite resort.

What do you guys get at Mama Melrose's? We ate there once, but thought it was just ok. Maybe we're ordering the wrong stuff.

Great night shots! I never pack my tripod because I feel like it's too bulky, but you're making me reconsider with all the good pictures at night.

I bought one pretty cheap and only weighed about 4-5 pounds, I hooked it to my backpack. I only brought it out in the afternoon.

My wife had a pasta with artichokes and peas and loved it, I tried it and really liked it as well. I had the veal parm and it was awesome. They also give you bread and olive oil to dip it in. The kids had spaghetti and meatballs, it was really good too.

I think it also dosent feel like theme park food either, kinda like a home cooked meal.

Ya, thats hilarious, I like when Barbie and Ken see each other for the first time and Ken says "Love your legwarmers" and Barbie say "nice ascot"

I'm especially glad to hear how much you like Riverside. That's where we'll be in May. Did you (by chance) get any pics in AB? I imagine that's where they'll put us since there are 5 of us.

We stayed in Alligator Bayou in 2006 when we stayed at POR. It was enjoyable. We really liked being close to Ol' Man Island. We were closer to a quiet pool, but not far from OMI either. My DW really loves the shade that the myraid oaks provide there at POR. I have some pics, but don't want to hijack the thread....

We absolutely love POR, a great place to take a walk in the morning or evening. You can walk from POR to POFQ and go the restaurant there, or use that pool. Great resort!! You will have a blast.

I did not get to that area, we have stayed in the Magnolia area on all of our stays.
