The faceless children take on the World...UPDATE 12/22

The rest of us weren't stopping though! Well, actually, J.J. was asleep soon after. So...we wined and dined it (minus the wine) at Food and Wine. Or we tried. Really, we walked around searching for something that Grandma would eat, but 26 booths and nothing she was interested in. She's the pickiest eater I've ever met. Plus, it was SO crowded! DH got some food though.

Plus we got some soup. Since both kids were asleep, we parked next to a duck, and took in illuminations.

When it was done, Grandma made us all proud, because we speedwalked all the way back to the bus stop.

We made good time, and got on a bus pretty quickly. Someone nice gave DH a seat. We still needed to eat dinner, and it was about 10:30 so the food court was still open. So we popped in the gift shop door, and took some toy pictures. Don't you love window shopping from home? No? Well, too bad, because I do!

Then we got some food.

Look at that, pretty much no ingredients in the cheesecake. Gotta love that. Sydney still got a rash every time she ate it because of the food coloring, but she's just very sensitive to everything. When we were done, we filled our mugs and headed back to the room. As you can imagine, everyone got into bed and was asleep in no time.

Wow! What an exciting day! It looks like you guys had a really great time at the MK. I think no matter what age, all little girls fall in love with the MK. How can they not?

With 2 trips to Pop, I stilll haven't had the tye-dye cheesecake! Maybe next time.

Brady fell in love with It's a Small World too! (much to DHs dislike!) Everytime we passed it we had to go on. I thought it was very strange but he just loved it.

I think ice-cream and cupcakes/mickey heads is a fabulous diet! ;)

I had no idea she would love it so much! I'm glad she did though, it was so very cute to watch!

Umm...I am completely sure that I ate the equivalent of an ENTIRE tie-dye cheesecake while I was there. I don't even LIKE cheesecake, but that tie-dye one I love. You have to try it!

Yeah, I never would have expected it! There are a lot of animals and stuff though, so I guess it's fun for everyone. I definitely passed on a trip later though...I do like it, but it's not something I can ride over and over.

Nutrition wasn't quite at the forefront on this trip. :rolleyes1 Oh well. They were happy, and full!

Hi Christa!! I am here finally :goodvibes I just read through it all tonight.

love the shot of the kids with SSE in the background. :goodvibes I am so glad the flight went well.

Great pictures of Pop! I like the refurb rooms too and awesome you got your wish granted for you!!

So nice that JJ took a nap! Those were few and far between for us. I enjoyed riding the bus too--nice downtime.

I am sorry the F! did not go so well. :sad2: You got a lot done in your first day--love PH. Did you find they were useful for this trip? We hopped a bit but a whole lot because of the large party size we had on our trip.

I am glad Sdy liked MK!! It is so magical there. :goodvibes You got a lot done in FL! There must have been low crowds!! I'm sad that we did not get to go on IASW but we will do it on our next trip.

WOW - you have been a busy poster! I can't wait to read through your updates and look at all the beautiful pictures, but I must.....finish.....Christmas prep! Merry Christmas!! Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be back to catch up and comment next week!

What a great MK/Epcot day! I am glad that JJ did OK on Snow White. We are going to try it on our next trip for the 1st time.

Somebody got a great score on Buzz! Good job! :thumbsup2

It seems that Cosmic Rays can be hit or miss. Glad to see that you got it as a hit!

:rotfl: about your DH's pictures with the giant computer.

I liked the shopping pictures. Now I know what Duffy the Disney bear looks like. Want to put odds on me coming home with somewhere between 1 and 3 of them on our next trip?

 about your Mom not finding anything to eat at F&W. I think I would have to avoid eating for a week to get ready for that event!

The flight went fine. It's so intimidating flying with Syd. She doesn't like sitting still. She doesn't like TV, or books. She just wants to climb. Which she can't do on an airplane!

Great pictures of Pop! I like the refurb rooms too and awesome you got your wish granted for you!!

I was so happy. Our room was great and the location is amazing! I know there are no guarantees about room placement, but it would have really bummed me out if we weren't in that section. SO I am really happy that they try and accommodate you!

He NEEDED it. You'll see, we are bad parents when it comes to being able to say, "Okay, we really need to take a break for the kids." There's just so much to do and not enough time. There is SO much we didn't do, and that's even with pushing too hard sometimes!

I always find park hoppers useful. :lmao: Even more so now that we TRY to go back to the resort...not having to go back to the same park after a mid-day break is really nice.

I think it was early, and the crowds were pretty low. I haven't gone at a busy time in quite awhile, so I'm not a good judge. We didn't wait very long for anything this trip.

Thanks! It was a lot of updating at once. Hopefully I can do that again soon. I am slacking!

What a great MK/Epcot day! I am glad that JJ did OK on Snow White. We are going to try it on our next trip for the 1st time.

I was surprised. I know that ride is scary! I think I had him cover his eyes for when the witch turns around, since I figured that was the scariest part.

Somebody got a great score on Buzz! Good job! :thumbsup2

I'm sure it was DH. :lmao: I'm terrible at those rides!

It seems that Cosmic Rays can be hit or miss. Glad to see that you got it as a hit!

We liked it every time we ate there. It was that cheese sauce...

:rotfl: about your DH's pictures with the giant computer.

Too funny, right? But I do kind of like it!

I liked the shopping pictures. Now I know what Duffy the Disney bear looks like. Want to put odds on me coming home with somewhere between 1 and 3 of them on our next trip?

I'm so glad someone likes them! I can't imagine coming home with THREE of them though. Too much! I try and cull stuffed animals as quickly as possible here or they just take over. My kids never play with them but they're very attached to the idea of having them...

 about your Mom not finding anything to eat at F&W. I think I would have to avoid eating for a week to get ready for that event!

I know, right? Couldn't find ANYTHING? With ALL that food? She is pickier than the children, and the children are PICKY. ;)

See above!

The Mickey Head confetti flew, and we scooped up some of that beautiful pixie dust. We knew someone who needed it, so that confetti was like gold to us! DH thought I was completely crazy, by the way. He doesn't understand the value of pixie dust!

So true, my friend, so true! :) That pixie dust is gold indeed. And I'm so glad you made it to the opening show at MK. We thought it was truly magical!

We headed toward dumbo, but ended up at Peter Pan after DH went there for fastpasses and discovered that there was no line. Syd liked it, but I had to confiscate her mickey head sticker that she was holding on to, since I was worried that she would drop it, and with that black light that thing would have been glowing and huge among london's skyline. J.J. liked it too.

One of our very favorites (mine and DH's too!)!

But as soon as we went through that archway...she had no interest in nursing any more! She was SOOO excited!

Matthew was the same age as Sydney when we went and Small World was hands down his favorite thing of the entire trip! (There's no way we would have gone on it so many times had that not been the case! :lmao:) He would perk up, clap his hands, rock back and forth to the music, laugh and smile the entire ride. It was so fun to see him enjoy it like that. I'm so glad Sydney loved it too!

There's just something about the Magic Kingdom!!

Whew, I'm all caught up! Sorry to have been MIA for so long but it just couldn't be helped!

They have that same chicken alfredo at ASMu and it is GOOD!! Lovin' all the details and pics. :)

Following along! I am taking my DS in March when he is 20 months old. I noticed your DD's shoes. How did they work for the trip? I am trying to find good park shoes for a little one.

My kids all wore crocs for our January trip (on the cooler days, socks with crocs). They were 4.5, 2.5, and 18 months at the time.

Chiming in because I think its important for people to know that crocs don't work for everyone. My dd and her friend wore crocs to the zoo and both got HORRIBLE blisters from the plastic piece that connects the strap to the shoe. Thankfully this was before our Disney trip so we knew not to take them!
