The Fabby LapuLapuettes Part IV: My Pineapple Needs a Refill!

I need to finish cleaning the house today and then I am going to scrapbook the rest of the afternoon.

Oh, don't even get me started on my scrapbooking. I so need to catch up. :lmao:

Mmmmm. My favorite thing at Chili's are the chicken tacos and the nachos.

I debated ordering the nachos! Now I'll know CP deems them worthy, I'll have to get them next time. :thumbsup2

I know what you mean -- sometimes it's nice to be the only one awake first thing in the morning.

I often think of it as the calm before the storm.

So I'm halfway through Book of the Dead and loving it! They write a mystery so, so well. Oh, and the second Sookie book just came in at my library so I was able to get that. Wish me luck. :lmao:

I actually wrote "scrapbook Mexico and Italy" on my to-do list so that I will make time to do it.

Very CP-worthy. ;)

They do write well -- I always wonder how that works when you write with someone else. I am such a control freak, I don't think I could do it.

Living Dead in Dallas is better -- I just finished the third one -- which almost has me caught completely up with the series -- and I really liked it. I am kind of sad I don't have another Sookie story to read this weekend.

Good morning Lapuettes!

TK - love the zen!!! Yes, you were overdue but we forgive you.

DH and I went out to dinner last night to Bertucci's. LOVE that place. There's nothing like hot-out-of-the-oven rolls with herbed oil to dip it in...::yes:: We both had one of their winter specials which involved marinated chicken and steak tips. YUM - O! I even had a nice glass of wine. It was just so nice to get out and have a nice meal together.

Today it's snowing.

Again.

But I'm heading to Florida in 5 days!!:hyper: And incidentally even though I whole-heartedly agree that if one is in Florida one should go to Disney, alas I will not be visiting the Mouse this time. But I get warm weather and sunshine and palm trees all the same, and I'm going to meet a DISer from another thread who doesn't live too far from my dad! Can't wait.

Oh, and TK?.....i'mgoingtoscrapbooktoday.

I wonder that, too. You know I think I read somewhere they have a website where you can contact them. I wonder if that issue is discussed in their FAQ section if they have one.

Glad you had a good time! I had the best margarita last night, too. It wasn't a Mexico Margarita, but it'll do. ;)

No tomato throwing here. Honestly, all my photos are organized, in order, and just need to be put in the book. I'm just procrastinating. :lmao:

Morning Ladies...

I had a couple girlfriends over for dinner Friday night and they didn't leave until 12:30am! I'm usually in bed by 10pm....

I've been trying to figure out how to decorate Liam's new room that he will move into in April. He's getting our current bedroom and it has never been painted.....white walls.....UGH. I think I have decided on a Club House Mickey theme-done lite. For the walls I'll do the bottom half in red, top half in yellow and a horizonal thick stripe of blue all around the room. I'll stencil something like numbers and maybe the Mickey Clubhouse gears on the closet doors. Then get him some Mickey bedding in primary colors for his new bed.

John is currently working on turning part of the basement into a bedroom for us to use from April until our new bedroom is ready in the addition. My garage looks like Home Depot with all the supplies.

I need to find something useful to do today. I should work on my photo albums since 1 it needs to be done and 2 it's something I can do sitting down.

Oh, you wild thing, you! Staying up past your bedtime. ;) I'm glad you had a good time, Heidi.

And those plans for Liam's new room sound awesome! It's so easy to go with the primary color theme for little boys, because you can always find a lot. :goodvibes

Can I hop in for a visit?

And MRYPPNs, are you still thawing from the MNSSHP? I finally get thawed to have some pretty cold weather. . .

Ladies. Good evenin'.
I've been an absentee Lapuette (again).
Please don't revoke my pineapple.

How is everyone this chilly night?

The plans for Liam's room sound great -- I fell asleep this afternoon for a short nap thinking of things that need to be done to the house. It may be a painting summer ahead of us...

Did you organize photos today? I got three scrapbooking layouts done -- poor Charles had to oohh and ahhh over them (you could tell he was just doing it so he didn't get yelled at). :rotfl:

I wonder that, too. You know I think I read somewhere they have a website where you can contact them. I wonder if that issue is discussed in their FAQ section if they have one.

Oh, I should go check out their website.

Hi, Tink! We actually had a warm spell today -- it got all the way up to 39. After the past few days, I swear it almost felt like summer.

That's too funny, someone else just told me this, but I can't remember who it was. I know, they get so attached to the decorations.

Funny story about that, last night DH and I are sitting on the couch watching TV, and DH looks up. On the top of our entertainment unit are two little stuffed snowmen he totally forgot to take down. :lmao: We had a good laugh over it, I'll just have to find a place to put them in the house.

That is funny about the snowmen. I always find something that I forget to put away.

You will have a great time. I am so excited for you.

Is there any convincing you to do a Trip Report, last I remember is that you didn't think you'd do one. :bitelip:

I still don't think I'll do one. Maybe a dining report, but probably not. I've read too many not-very-interesting TRs and I don't want to put another one into the world! :rotfl2:

Trixie, only one day left. You must be sooooo excited.

I really am. :hyper: I still have a lot to do, including getting my roots touched up and seeing my doctor, so hopefully keeping busy will help. I've had a lot of congestion in my ears and yesterday they started hurting a little. Just want to make sure they're okay. :thumbsup2

Morning Ladies-

Stayed up too late watching the Steelers game last night....but then again when aren't I tired?

I did work on my photo albums yesterday....doing something like Wings. I 've been working on it on and off for 1 1/2 years! Combining old albums into two new ones, in year order and getting rid of the crap pictures and doubles. I'm getting closer to being done. Then I can order prints of newer pictures.....I still don't have prints of Liam's first birthday back in May!

And I spent a lot of time yesterday trying to find pictures on the internet for tile ideas for my new master bathroom.

That's nice. We've had such cold weather here that when it actually got warm enough to snow yesterday, it was like a relief. :lmao:

Super excited and super nervous...there's so much to think about! :crazy2:

I'm mega excited for you. Just one day!

Ditto on what LL said. I think a trip report would be awesome! :goodvibes

Me, too. :lmao:

Here's hoping it's something that is easily cleared up, and that you'll be fine for your trip! :goodvibes
