I don't know if anyone has posted this before but I was just thinking about while going through some threads...Im not sure if any of you guys have been looking on the knot...but those brides are ruthless...they are so mean!! If you look at their boards all they do is fight and put down peoples ideas in a rude way! Before I had made the decision to have a Disney wedding I was there alot and to come here and see the HUGE difference its amazing. All of you are so nice! You know how to give your own opinion...and in a nice way.

Ok I have to say that after reading you post I went over to the Knot to see for myself. I am completely appalled by the way that people attack eachother. I am practically speachless. I just think it is absolutley ridiculous. They are some of the meanest people I have ever come across.

I know it...I never wrote on their boreds just looked for information...unfortunately there was no information...just arguing...and I am not too sure how to report people I am very much done with that site!

This thread is a BAD idea. I know you girls weren't here before but the last time something like this came up we were invaded by Knotties and there were tons of drama and people getting kicked off.

I agree about the posting personalities of the two boards. When I was planing my wedding back in 2003 they weren't as bad, but it wa sbrewing. The Dis isdefinately a much friendlier community, and I wish that I hadfound them years ago. As PP mentioned, there has been numerous occassions in the past where the knotties have posted on both here and their boards about Disney Weddings, and not in a favorable way. So you might want to be careful about what you post as it can get messy.

I apologize had no idea...im new to this!! It must be the whole Disney thing...you pass people at Disney and they are so quick to help or wave or say hi...then you come to Boston or even any other places(im sure) and people don't even look your way and bump your shoulder as they pass!

whatever that's why we have our community and they have theirs. i don't think that we sugarcoat things here i just think that we give advice in a helpful manner.

Ya I havn't visited that site for a long time until it was posted that someone obviously wanted an argument ...but i agree they should all know of the ones that are just not very nice...im sure they all experienced it...I am new to this bored as was said...and I havn't had any negativity so far and just wanted to put that out there...didn't know there were "wars" between sites....we are all brides to be we should all be happy for eachother...and here everyone is happy for eachother

Hi Guys - I'm going to close this thread in an attempt to prevent the previous problems from recurring. As a general rule, its best not to discuss the issues of other boards, the knot or otherwise.
