right now our loverly ship here has 1600 posts (this is the 1601st). so i'm thinkin' that it might be time to start up a new ship (thread) for us. i'm thinkin once we reach 1630 (??) posts we should relocate. so that means it's time for a vote. here's what we must vote on. majority votes win:

1. does anyone mind if i start up the new ship? (if you have nominations for who to start up the new thread, submit them for a vote. if i were to nominate, i'd nominate the person with the highest amount of posts here. not sure who that is. how would we figure that out? i don't wanna count. got any mathematicians or technological geniouses who know more than me??)

2. does everyone agree that we shall be pirates who strongly dislike joan rivers? (and/or her daughter? if u like joan rivers, take no offense for a lot of pirates can like joan, yeah so anyway...)

3. does everyone agree on the number of posts (1630) to this thread?

4. We need names for our new thread. i'm thinking we should name our ship something and call our thread that. like the *name of ship here*: the POTC obsessors....lol or something like that. (sorry my creative juices r running dry.)

3. Aye - 1630 be a fine numb'r.

4. Aye - well, thar be the obvious name o' the Black Pearl. Me own ship be nam'd the Devil's Vengeance, but per'aps that'd be a bit too scary fer what we do here. Or... hmmm... somethin' te do with Sparrow... Sparrow's.... hmmm... Sparrow's Return?... Sparrow's Revenge?... Sparrow's Sloop?... Sparrow's Galleon?... Master Jack?.... the Captain Jack?... Sparrow's Freedom?... hmmm... this may take some thot... hope someone else be havin' bett'r ideas than me!

anyway, i was thinking. maybe we could call it the black pearl considering i think everyone around here is a sparrow fan or a barbossa fan and at one time both of the proud cap'ns was cap'n of the pearl. but i dunno!!!

and it's good to know im not the only strong disliker of joan rivers pirate around here. well mel of course, but it's good to know we're not the only 2.

i do agree magix, it'll be sad to see this good ol' thread whose beeen so wonderful to us have to go, but then again it's a good thought knowing so many people have been loyal to this thread.

lol sorry! i was just blastin' springsteen a couple minutes ago and that was the last song i listened to. "tunnel of love" it's called. ya. anyway, i was learning how to crochet. very frustrating, but i finally got it. why, might you ask, was i learning to crochet? why, for servie of course! see, once i learn to make things, i'm gonna donate them for service! i only learned the first little stitchy thing, but it's progress. i cried a lot though! lol

Emily, I learn'd to knit when I were in seventh grade. Me Study Hall/Spanish teacher taught me. I and anoth'r girl would sit up by the teacher's desk during study hall and the three of us would knit. Me mum be a crochet wizz. She taught me to crochet, but I will ne'er be as good as she is. Just keep workin' at it.

nvm, im all done now. no problem mel. i FINALLY, after like 20 minutes, got the entire mysitc river trailer to load. i kept having to watch bits and pieces of it until the entire thing loaded. now it did so i've been watching it

so, what all can we have on our grand new wonderful ship??? how bout a theater, so we can watch potc whenever we want!! {or lotr for all you lotr people!! or MAYBE even mystic river...} well, i guess im out!! later!!!

alright, first off i must say i LOVE your idea of a movie theater on board!! (and so we can watch mystic river, sean penn movies, johnny movies, orly movies, and just to be kind to amanda since i'm bringing aboard sean, elijah movies.) i also think we should have a party room with a huge stereo system, dance floor, rum bar, disco ball, personal pirate dj, pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, you know the works for us partying pirates! i also think we should have an endlessly supplying, automatic refilling refrigerator. that's what i think.
and u must have a lot of time on your hands if u can count all of those posts. and your cousin emily has a beautiful name.
so what's new?? i'm out of my state of depression mel. except i don't want to go to retreat tomorrow. ugh.

haha!!!! confirmation retreat is soooooo unbelievably boring!!!! omg last year, we watched the lion king, which was fine by me, but they had the captions on and they wouldnt turn them off!!! then they handed out letters to everyone from their family and their sponsor and everyone started crying...i still do every time i read the letter my sister erin, who was my sponsor, sent me...then my mom comes upstairs and asks me why im crying and when i tell her its nothing, shes like, "well then you can do without tv computer music and phone for a couple days, cant you!!!"grrr!!!!!! anyways, im glad youre out of depression, thats always a good thing, and guess what!!!!! i didnt get freaky-uk-lover-who-talks-too-fast-with-tassels-on-his-shoes-who-looks-like-a-turtle cootified today at church...which is also always a good thing

Alas, my intrnet and tv was darn broken for near to a week and i finally be back to looking in on me dear fan clubs. I think a new thread is a wonderful idea!

About Joan Rivers and her daughter, I've been disliking GREATLY(i gave up using 'hate' for Lent) them for a while now.....

(oh and seeing as i am making my way to disney and all those wonderul Orlando places in 4 DAYS!, I was awonderin if you guys could steer me in the right direction for rides/shopping/restaurants since i never have traversed that so called state of Florida!)

hullo! omg im so jealous talkischeap. 2 more days!! so lucky. and it's gunna be awesome just so you no. and u DEFINITELY have to go to downtown disney for shopping. the huge disney store is there...it's like the size of like 2 football fields or something! it's so cool. for rides, my favorites are rock'n'rollercoaster, splash mountain, thunder mountain, space mountain, tower of terror, oh man! just ride them all! lol
