Magical Express is a bus, not a van, so you shouldn't have too many troubles. Think nice charter.

The only stairs I can really think of at Magic Kingdom are the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, so you'd probably want to avoid that (and once you are in, you have to go all the way through, no skipping out at a halfway point.)

Also, are there a lot of stairs in magic kingdom, Epcot and the Polynesian? I’m recovering from pneumonia and with my weight stairs leave me out of breath.

Space Mountain’s standby line has stairs, but you’re traveling down flights, so it’s not that bad. Splash Mountain has stairs as well, and those involve going up. I tend not to have any issues traversing the Splash Mountain stairs, but I take it slow (and if I’m in the FastPass lane, I’ll even let people go past me, knowing full well that I’m moving slower up the stairs than the average person).

DH carries his weight up front, and he finds the Tea Cups a very tight fit. His advice is to take along a facecloth or small towel, to put between you and the spin-wheel, to keep it from making any marks on your clothing.

I want to thank everyone for this thread, I just finished up my trip to Disney World and definitely read a lot of this which helped put my mind at ease for most of the rides

I'm 6'2 and between 350-360 and I fit onto everything I tried, including FOP and 7DMT.

I tried the test seat for FOP and the CM said I was in the green, on the actual ride the CM there did have to give a quick push to get it locked but nothing major. I did not have a lot of room for my knees but my calves were OK.

7DMT was VERY tight and basically crushed my thighs. As others have said its a very short ride so it didn't bother me too much but if you have any leg issues I would avoid.

All other rides "I fit into no problem and without any issue. Test track seems to have more room up front, I was in the back and my knees were pretty squished but it wasn't too bad. On the seatbelt rides definitely pull it out as much as you can before you sit.

Does anyone have any recommendations for fun shirts for Pooh sized girls? I love some of the cute custom stuff on etsy, but I love soft, fitted tees in plus size and not rough, thick unisex tshirts that most people offer. Most shops are not super helpful or do not offer comfortable tshirts in 2-3x sized in designs I want

I feel ya on the cute Disney shirts that NEVER come in the right size or sell out quickly. That is one of the reasons that i started making my own. (I did the same when a local vendor never had my size in dress- I got a business license and started ordering wholesale ) Anyway, now that I am in a Large/XL it is easier to find pre made Disney shirts.

You can order the "image" from the seller and put it on a shirt/dress of your choosing (Solid color dress with a cute Disney theme with some low top Chucks-too cute.

I offer the option of shirt with image or just image (I mainly do these for friends and family) but there are a ton of sellers on Etsy that can help you out.

You may want to search "svg" and then contact the seller to see if they offer the image you can iron on yourself. I will add that with an image made of heat transfer vinyl that you need to press HARD or have a press.

Where’s a good location to SIT and watch the fireworks and castle inside MK and how early should we try to grab the spot?

If having a seat -- a real seat, not just sitting on the ground -- is a priority, then your best option is to spring for the Tomorrowland Terrace dessert party, which has a great view of the fireworks, but a side/tree-obstructed view of the castle and the projections. If you're okay with sitting on the ground, the hub grass in front of Casey's is a halfway decent option, though I don't know if they're now reserving that for dessert party usage as well (I know the grass opposite it on the Tomorrowland side is reserved).

If you're willing to punt on seeing the projections entirely for the combination of a seat and a view of the fireworks, both Liberty Square and Tomorrowland offer decent options for which you wouldn't have to show up too early.

Otherwise getting one of the few spots that offers both a real seat and a view of the castle can be a matter of showing up a few hours before showtime and camping out.

Here now and having an amazing time! I found barnstormer difficult to get in and out of (the metal canopy over our seat made it more daunting bc I had to duck. It’s left me nervous to try other rides bc no one has mentioned barnstormer being difficult. I don’t really have mobility issues other than just being Pooh size (size 26 jeans). I killed my stomach on the tea cups both getting in and out and it was in the way of the wheel so I felt mortified in front of my h and 7yo dd. She was being pouty bc it wouldn’t spin as fast as she wanted. After our little chat about gratitude and how lucky she is to be here, I had to (For the first time) talk with her about my body (even though she’s the one who made me plus size! I can’t blame her anymore bc she’s 7. Lol. I may have gained 70 while preg but it’s on me to lose it).

Anyway, it kind of took my happiness here down several pegs. If I found barnstormer a little challenging getting in and out what else should I be prepared for or skip? We plan to do dumbo, small world, haunted mansion, pirates, splash mountain, big thunder mtn railroad and Ariel.

I wear a size 26 on the bottom at Torrid and a 22/24 on top. All my bulk is in my middle. Small world is an open boat ride, your stomach should not be an issue. I didn't have any issue on Pirates or Haunted Mansion either. You should be fine on those!

I found Barnstormer tough to get in and out, but riding it wasn't really any issue. I had the same exact issue as you with the tea cups (minus the whole having grown a person inside me thing). As for the other rides you've listed (though I'd assume by now you've tried them already):

- Dumbo: The only issue I've had with this is the seatbelt, and having to stretch it to fit two people. I usually end up riding solo, though if you're riding with your daughter (or if your daughter rides with your husband and you ride solo) you shouldn't have a problem

- Small World: It's a big step down (and thus a big step up when getting out), but not really a problem fit-wise.

- Haunted Mansion: Sometimes I've had to squeeze my belly to get the lap bar to lock into place, but it's not a huge issue

- Pirates: Same as Small World

- Big Thunder: I've never had a problem here, though one thing to keep in mind is that it's a shared lap bar, so if there's a significant size difference between you and the person riding with you, they might end up sliding around a little more

- Ariel: Same as Haunted Mansion -- though anecdotally I think the lap bar might be roomier, because I've never had to squeeze on this one.

I got on FOP no problem! I was worried. I did try the seat outside and the CM said I'd be fine. Once inside I did have to utilize the lift up on your tiptoes to get the leg restraint to fully click, but the back was absolutely fine. Whew!

Hi all! I spent so many years agonizing over whether or not I would be able to fit in the rides at Disney that I just wasted time not going. When Mine Train was built and every review said how tight it was, I was worried even more. My hips are just super wide and I carry all of my weight in my thighs, hips, and butt.

After finally riding it and seeing a friend of mine have similar worries, I took a quick, jumbled video of how my thighs and hips fit in to the seat. I was wondering if I could post it here and maybe it will give someone a better idea if they are pear shaped like I am.

I'm 5'7 and around 280, my BFF is 5'10 and around 415, and when we ride the boat rides together, there is a noticeable feeling of the boat "dipping" when we get in. It's at the point where my BFF won't ride Small World or Donald Duck's GF anymore, and barely tolerates Pirates. Frozen hasn't been a problem. Living with the Land was a problem once when our party (including her mom and little niece) were all seated in the front of the boat and it definitely "dragged" a bit because of that (to the point where the group of young people behind us made elephant noises and rude comments to us) and it was really pretty awful.

The solution is not to ride in the same row so that our weight gets distributed, but I wonder if anyone else has had similar issues?

I've definitely experienced this issue on some of the slow boat rides (Small World and Living with the Land in particular), but it hasn't stopped me from riding. Usually the loading CMs are good about distributing weight as they assign parties to rows, but one thing that can help is asking to be in the back row. This helps in a couple of ways. First, the backs of the boats on rides with longer boats (SM, Pirates, LWTL, etc.) are usually designed to handle more weight than the fronts. I've noticed the boats are more likely to dip/drag when I'm in the front versus when I'm in the back. Second, if you're in the back of the boat, no one else on your boat can see you. I know people will say things like "oh, don't pay any mind to people who are being mean/nasty", but I can say from first-hand experience that those kinds of comments hurt, and I try and find ways to avoid being in situations where I might draw unwanted attention.
