We're going to be on the Wonder during the Super Bowl. Has anyone cruised during the Super Bowl? Is it even possible to get a seat in the ESPN club? I can imagine it's pretty packed the entire day.

DH won't rest easy until he hears he can see the game in style and comfort!

Don't know anything about what DCL will do about the SuperBowl but by then the ESPN club will be changed in The Stack, the teen club. I believe that the sports bar wil be Diversions.

Maybe the sports nuts who've been on the Magic can give you more info about the sports TV viewing on the Magic since the Wonder will be changed to match the Magic (layout wise) during Drydock in October.

Yeah, ESPN club will be gone by Super Bowl Time. We were on the 12-27-03 New Years's cruise and it seemed they had bowl games on everywhere and on the cabin TV's, so you shouldn't miss anything. We're a baseball family so didn't pay a lot of attention. Also this was a sea day and New Years day so a lot of folks weren't up in time for bowl games!!!

Yes getting a seat at the ESPN club will be impossible at SuperBowl time, but I bet Diversions will have it on for sure!!!! :)

As the other posts said, ESPN will be converted to the Stack during dry dock in October. Diversions is very nice, so don't worry!!

We have Been to Both Espn and Diversions
Yes Espn Will Be gone, But We Were able to Watch a couple of major sporting Events With no problem And they Make it fun with

We were on the Magic for Superbowl 2003. At that time they still had the ESPN Skybox. My husband was disappointed because they didn't have much happening up there. There was a "tailgate party" at the bar area behind Lumiere's (can't think of the name) and he said that it was pretty fun. I am sure that now that they have Diversions there will be more planned. The biggest problem we had was that SuperBowl was the Sunday night and so was our formal evening. There were alot of women at early dinner alone (and ticked off) because the men were watching the game. We enquired about 2-3 months before to see if they were going to be changing the formal night to Monday but they said no. My hubby was a good boy and came to formal night with his family.
Bravo! :p

They had the Olympics on at Diversions while we were onboard, so I assume they'd put on the Super Bowl. I can see the cruise staff starting in an indoor BBQ or something.
