I seem to remember a sailing ship in front of (behind?) the theatre by the American Pavilion sitting in the lagoon. It hasn't been there for a few years now.

1. Was it ever there?
2. If so, was it supposed to represent the Mayflower?
3. Was it removed because it rotted out?

Yes, it was most definitely there!
It's name was the Golden Dream.
I doubt that it rotted, since it was fiberglass!

WOW. How long ago was that??? I don't ever remember seeing it. But that doesn't mean anything. What happened to it???

The boat was installed in the late 90's. It was called the Golden Dream. Unfortunately the boat was destroyed by the hurricanes of 2004.
