I really hope they don't change SSE - This is a ride that when it's hot outside (and when is it NOT hot?) and your feet hurt. You can get on and enjoy. Your neck won't be snapped back from going too fast. I like thrill rides but we need some relaxing ones also. Update but please don't change. Seems everytime Disney gets a ride that doesn't have a 1000 people standing in line for, they think it needs to be closed. Think again.We are all getting older and we need things of our childhood to keep up young. Thanks for letting me vent.

We just returned from 12 days in WDW last night. My 5 year old loved SSE (and so did I). For her, it was a chance to sit and be amazed, without being scared. For me, it was a chance to be entertained while relaxing. SSE is the perfect ride to get on when the heat is getting to you and you need to relax for a moment....especially on the return to earth when you are riding backwards and reclined. I guess when Disney makes this a thrill ride it will be yet another ride that my 5 year old can't go on.

What's next to go of the great rides? Pirates?

Steff, by the time these 'rumors' could possibly take place your 5 year old will be twelve and you'll be happy the change's were made.
