The End of MTV?

So, I found out today that TRL is ending. Yeah, I know you probably don't watch it just like I don't watch it anymore. But, we all did at one time. Admit it. You raced home from school because you knew *NSYNC was going to be on there..lol. Anywho now that TRL is ending they might as well change MTV to Reality TV. That's all they play anyway right? My question is how would you fix MTV? I would bring back old shows from back in the day that I'm too young to remember like YO! MTV Raps and Headbangers Ball. Bring back DIARY. Add more umm MUSIC? Isn't that a crazy idea? Music on MTV? I'd get rid of all the reality stuff except True Life, The Real World (it can get annoying and its always the same thing, but hey its a classic!), those realworld/road rules challenges because they're usually hilarious (except for The Island that was horrible)and I think that's it. Why doesn't MTV bring back the music. I don't get to watch FUSE much, but it seems like that's what MTV used to be like. So, what would you do to MTV?

I'd put music back on it aswell, MTV's name stands for Music Television, but I scarcely see music on there. I'd get back all the classic shows they had aswell like Daria, I loved that show.

Honestly, I want this channel gone. It's not a music channel, and probaby hasn't been one since the nineties.
and even still, from what I can see TRL was just mostly interviews of actors and various famous people.

Honestly, if I want music on my tv, I listen to CMT, or the french music station. I don't go to MTV, or even Much Music (Canadian music channel). MTV HAS NO MUSIC ON AT ALL. I swear, none at all. Not here anyways.
Much Music has the odd music video or music show.. but I mean..

Degrassi?
Those are TV SHOWS. Not music. And I can watch those on another channel anyways, before you air it.

I totally agree MTV doesn't show music anymore. They used to show some in the early morning, but not anymore. It's really pathetic and I just don't get it? OMG I loved DARIA! lol. That show was hilarious. I watched it once late at night and ended up having a Daria dream! Don't Mtv Vh1 and BET belong to the same company? Isn't that kind of a monopoly? Let's take them to the courts and make them split up and play some MUSIC!!

I totally remember Carson Daly and MTV Live and Total Request before TRL. I remember Daria and Beevis and Butthead being on MTV.

MTV is just annoying now.
FUSE is much, much better (even music-wise. The music they play on MTV can get really boring and annoying).

mtv sold out(imo).back in "the day", all they'd play was videos, and things that had to do with music. now they barely ever play any. that's why i don't watch this channel. maybe i'd consider watching it if they play'd much more music related shows.

I was sad when I heard TRL was ending. I looooved that when I was younger. And I totally remember racing home to watch the Backstreet Boys or Britney Spears or Jennifer Lopez perform.

I hope MTV doesn't go away all together. They have some really good mindless TV shows on there that I love to watch when I'm bored. lol I'd be very sad if MTV shut down all together.
