Last days are always sort of sad, but to be honest, I was pretty much ready to go home.

Can't say I'm familiar with that feeling.

I never really saw a sign that said “Cast Members Only”, but I still felt like I was going back stage.

These rooms are gorgeous. I just love everything about them and it was hard to say goodbye

So as far as Denny is concerned, the Magical Express IS the Magical Mystery Tour.

That actually makes it sound way better.

Glad you were able to get one last DISmeet in before you left. And even better that it was over a good meal at a fun restaurant. Can't beat that send-off.

That bathroom is so amazing and I'm sorry I didn't have more time to just chill and relax in the tub. But that's my own fault!

I love it there, too. And I really love staying there. We were fortunate enough to stay there for a night in Feb and we have 3 nights next Feb!

We were so glad we finally got to meet you that day! And of course we were so happy to see you again in May and look forward to seeing you many more times! Caitlin's new day off is Tues, and Dale sets his own schedule, so that would be a good night for us to meet up.

I'm really glad we got to meet up in October and again in May! It's really great that it worked out both times!

I think we can shuffle some things around to make Tuesday night doable. I'll pm you to work out details! woo hoo!

What a nice last day. B&C is a great place for a Dismeet.

It was the perfect place for a DIS meet that day! Plus I loved that grilled cheese. SO yummy!!!!

Yeah - but every time I say it I can't get the Beattles song out of my head!

Well I won't say I'm excited since I'll miss Disney property, but staying off site is really the main reason I'm going just for cost. As for deals... well, if $21/night, Canadian, is a deal, then yup. Basically 8 nights for the price of 1 night at Pop.

Wow - that really IS a deal! Denny and I stayed off site in June 2013 when we ran out of DVC points (I don't think you were reading my TRs then) and it really didn't suck. It wasn't bad at all. I think when you have a car you can be super mobile and when you know the WDW property well its so easy to negotiate everything. I have no trouble staying off site, especially when you have other uses for the extra $.

You know, I tend to feel a little better leaving when it's overcast. It's subtle and relatively minor, but it helps.

I definitely think you are right. It REALLY hard to go home when the sun is shinning and the sky is blue!

Hmmmm, that's not the Stacey channel.

You were expecting Stacey from Denny? Denny is always glued to the news stations 24/7 - oh and channel hopping. So I guess a Stacy sighting is always possible!

Haha, I think unless you're at Pop or AoA, ALL Disney buses are a Magical Mystery tour.

February was a fun trip and it will be q quick report since most of our time was not spent at Disney!

There definitely is a nice component to driving. Just being able to relax and watch the cars go by. But then there's the time component, and I'm out.

It was weird, but I was totally in the mood for just chilling in the car and going totally mindless. Normally I would totally reject all attempts at a car ride. It may also have been because I had to go back to work and work 11 days straight.

Seeing your pictures reminds me of how much I love AKL. We will be staying there for the PHM, so I'm pretty happy about that.

It's such a great resort and will always be in my rotation. I really enjoy staying there. It's such a total immersion. Love it!

Hahahaha, the Magical Mystery Tour. It totally could be depending on who's driving!

I remember when you had lunch with Dawn and Caitlin! Feels like ages ago already. I had a brain fart like "who did they meet???"

It was 11 months ago (well 10). It does seem like ages ago, but now May is starting to seem like lightyears ago as well.

So when are you guys writing about May? Huh? Huh?

I just posted on Cynthia's TR that I think we should get started when she wraps up her current TR. When she gets back from her cruise I am sure she will want to work on that TR as well, so I think we should just step up to the plate and do 2 TRs at once. g

It was really lovely to meet them. I have been following their TR's since they first joined the DIS boards. They are both so awesome and I can't wait to see them again!

I can't remember, and I could go back and check, but did you start your trip with a meet with someone who was leaving that day or am I confusing this with another report?

I met Melissa on my first day, but I think she has another day or so with her family. I did have a lot of DIS meets this trip. It was really cool. And then two more DIS meets in Feb!

All the PHM tents and such are in the Wonder parking lot. Now follow that road the lower right hand side ....

You can move the map above- to GET to the corrals you walk down the road, make a left towards the divided 4 lane road ahead.... That's where the corrals are. Consider the walk over your warm up.

Oh YAYAYAYAY! Well, at least I will get a nice warm up on the way to the corrals. Can't wait. All I have to say is there better be plenty of bathrooms there.

Thanks! I'm feeling a little homesick right now myself. I can't wait to get back there and I'm starting to wonder how I will survive having no park ticket.

Ugh, flying home after a Disney trip is one of the least fun things... ever. And I can imagine that knowing you have to work a solid week and a half after made things worse. Glad that's all in the past now!

Me TOO! Ugh - that totally hung over my head at the end of the trip. At least we didn't get home super late. I've had some trips where I don't get home until midnight. This was a lot better. But, yes, its all behind me and I should never have to work that many days in a row again. YAY!

I always love reading about people's firsts, I find it so interesting to know there is still new stuff to discover at Disney after countless trips. Looking forward to that post!

I always find some firsts with each trip and I just love that! Disney is such a special place and no two trips are exactly the same. Quite the contrary - they are often quite different!

Everytime I would get into that shower, I would always look at the tile work. So beautiful!

DH and Denny are the same way. As soon as we walk into our room, wherever we stay at, the tv comes on. Personally, I could do without it.

I'm kind of glad you were in Williamsburg - gave me time to catch up! I swear I haven't been on the boards in 2 weeks! So busy. I don't know if I'll be able to finish my DL TR.

It's tough to be so busy that you always feel totally behind on the DIS. I know that happens to me a lot and sometimes I start to wonder if its even worth it trying to keep up, but then I always come around again!

Glad you had fun in W-burg. Now that I think of it, DH's cousin works for colonial W-burg - he should be getting us discount tickets!! If we ever get our buts back there!

It's a really nice discount. All tickets are 1/2 price - single day, multi-day or annual pass. The employee has to be there to show their id, but then you have the pass in hand. So awesome!

End of your magical mystery tour? Love that title! Sad to see it end, but as usual, you leave us with wonderful pictures and lots of future plans to look forward to!

Yup - its the end, but you know I always drag it out a bit longer. I want to do a parade of pics which may take awhile because how will I EVER decide which to use?

I will be back at WDW for a few days (in 3 weeks!!!) without my family - weird! So I hope to get on 7DMT - even though my MNSSHP night I wasn't able to get a FP+ for it. I'll wait in line if I have to. My DD13 says I should not ride a new ride without them. HA! Of course, they don't think they are going until spring break, but will be there in 3 1/2 months!

Nice! Two trips in such a short period of time! Are you traveling for work in 3 weeks? Enjoy! And, of course, you should ride a new ride without your family. Don't let them know I just said that!

It really was a great trip! It was the longest I ever had and it solidified the fact that I love F&W.

The rooms are absolutely some of my favorite. I just love the villas and I always enjoy my stays there. But it is a really bad place to run. There is literally no where to go. Boo! That's the only flaw the whole resort has.
