The Elusive BOG Reservation

For me, when I selected dinner. It popped up. I pressed the little button for the time, then had to sign in. I'm convinced if I didn't have to sign in, I would have gotten it, but alas it said it was already taken. :/

I wish my niece never spoke to kids at school, she would have never even known the difference.

For December 7, start really stalking the site November 4th. As people get to their 30 day mark they will cancel, change and update as plans finalize.

I had to completely change an upcoming trip that had 4 hard to get ADRs and just by checking everyday, a few times I managed to rebuild by ADRs. It can be done, just be patient and vigilant.

Try booking single reservations for lunch around the same time. I can almost always find BOG lunch ressies for 1. I grab one. Then I keep checking and grab a second one when I find one within a half hour. As long as they're close, you can go into the restaurant together.

And like others have said, don't give up. I have a BOG dinner ressie for 4 that I'm probably canceling. But I'm just not sure yet. I'll decide when our trip (Nov 15-20) is a little closer. Lots of people do the same.

So frustrated! Missed out on another dinner and a lunch today. Tried using the app this time instead of the computer. Got to the page where you click "book it" but the option was like grayed out. :/

Do keep checking. I have gotten one while in DW. If you don't cancel, you get charged. So, the closer you get to your date something may pop up. I have also done the switching numbers thing. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for your encouraging words. I have touring plans text alert set up for lunch and dinner. Breakfast for that day is a no go, because we're flying in that morning.

I posted this status right after I missed a 4:10 dinner res, even though as soon as I got the text I jumped on the site.

The other day we'all be in MK is a party day, so it feels like a waste getting a dinner res then.

The closer it gets to the trip, the more anxious I'm going to feel about this. I only hope that you are all correct!

I would try watching for your party day as well. If you found something starting in 4:00-6:00 range then you could be out by 7:00 when the actual party festivities begin. And if you're watching for 2 days, you'll have an even better chance to get something.

I just checked for reservations tomorrow, and I'm relieved to see openings. But still, I don't want to have to wait until last minute! D:
