In doing my research for my early November trip, I saw on the Edison's website they offer reservations there as opposed to the ADR system via the Disney app. I had a couple of questions...
1. Is it better to book direct through the Edison?
3. Why is everything so complicated and makes me overthink everything I want to do on a whim? LOL I was hoping a solo trip could exclude a ton of planning but there are a few places I really want to dine at.
Thanks!

1b. Am I naive and this is the only way to reserve there? vs. Normal ADR system/My Disney Experience 60 days out.
1c. I tried to make a reservation now, despite being 200 some days out and the error I received was for being too small of a party to book. Does this mean they don't take ressies for 1?
2. I am flying solo so what is the likelihood I could show up and get sat at the bar without a reservation etc...?3.
