The Edison ADR's?

I see the Edison has a Grand Opening scheduled and January 1st appears to be official opening day. Has anyone seen information on if/when reservations will be accepted? Nothing on Disney or Open table so far. Guess I will keep looking daily.

I would like to try the new restaurant but we will be there the first week of January and imagine getting in will be almost impossible.

Haven't seen that yet. Also looking for their menu to appear. I'll be going in April.

It is unusual to open ADRs until they are 102% sure they will be open.

We are also staying as patient as we can. I would think ADRs would become available 1/1/18 if they have them. DW and I are heading down in March and are looking forward to finding out how things will work here, i.e. will it take ADRs? will ADRs just get you in and each room is a lounge with tables you can pick to sit at or if you get a specific table? Or is it layed out like any other restaurant or what? We plan on going regardless, but we are anxious to find out what the deal is. Details have been scarce.

Thanks for this thread! I've been searching for any and all info about Edison ADR's and menus, too. We'll be there January 28 and are dying to try this restaurant for my birthday.

No menu yet, AFAIK, but just given the description of the place, I find it hard to believe it could be a burger shack. I think lots of people will be upset if that happens.

I looked at the menu for the Edison in CA & figure it must be similar in offerings?

We are going in May so we have a little more time to decide if we will try it out on this trip or later next year. I like to try out new restaurants and then decide if the restaurant works for us.

For example Homecomin' has had wonderful reviews. I'm glad we tried it. I have no problem with it - but I also was not that impressed. My pimento cheese, biscuits, and deviled eggs are as good or better than at Homecomin'. Living in New Orleans I can get fabulous fried chicken and hush puppies at about 10 places - for far less money. So although I think the food there is very good - it's not worth paying Disney prices for me to eat it. But it probably is for many others.

I also looked at the menu from the one in CA. If it is similar, I'd be happy with that. I'm guessing the menu will come out on 1/1/18, after the NYE grand opening, assuming it will open for regular business at that time. Fingers crossed. There is finally some light at the end of what has been a long long tunnel. Patience is a virtue.

Not that I've seen. I've come across a few reviews of the NYE event, but that was a different set up than they'll normally have. Hopefully a menu will be out in the next few days, or at least reviews of the menu from the soft openings.

That is correct and they will have a $15 cover with a dress code.

Amen. Until there are menus, This could be one of a GREAT Chicken Finger Shack, or an Honest Signature with GREAT offerings.

A review is out of their NYE event and it looked like standard bar food, but their regular menu could be different.
