The "ebay you way thread"

C.Ann started a wonderful, imformative thread with pages and pages and pages of tips, tricks and how-tos for saving money for WDW (or for any reason) by selling unwanted items on ebay.

Is anyone attempting to put these tips, trickes, how-to's in one thread to sticky at the top of the BB? If so - great, you have quite a chore ahead of you. If not, I'm willing to take some time to gather some of the imformation. If there are a number of BBer's who regularly contribute to that thread, maybe we could each take a chunk of page numbers and split the task.

Maybe if we all took a topic- for instance, shipping, paypal, feedback, listing, pic hosting, pricing etc...

That would work great. I'd be willing to grab a topic and do a write up on it...

C.ANN- your the ebay goddess ,what do you think?????

We could just email the thread starter with the info, and they could copy/paste it into an original email. Then if the moderators would be so kind as to lock the thread, so the post would stay an info onlypost...we could keep our big thread for questions etc..

I wrote a couple of months ago to see if there was a way a newbie like me could print off all this info...nobody seemed to know quite how to do it. I would LOVE to benefit from this info, if you all could devise a way to "nutshell it" for printing purposes. I am technologically impaired, so I don't think I'd be much help in the process. However, I can lead cheers for those who can!!!!

Hi all! This sounds like a great idea that ALL of us can benefit from - including myself..

Unfortunately, due to health problems, trying to help my DD and her DH get their house ready to go up for sale in the next 2 weeks or so, and then having to tackle my OWN house and get it up for sale within the next few months, I'm afraid I can't be of much help.. Sad to say, I barely have the physical energy or time to even concentrate on my own ebaying as much as I would like..

I think the idea is an excellent one though.. I often get a PM from someone that wants the whole ebay thing in a nutshell, and I just don't have the time to type it all out - let alone remember all of the AWESOME contributions that all of you have made..

Lately I've been fearful that the original thread will become so large that it may have to be done away with and I sure would hate to see all of that info lost..

I say go for it!! You have ALL contributed lots of useful info and it would be great if it were condensed somehow..

Shall I start a signup thread or have interested posters PM me? I'm willing to take charge if no one else has already begun putting this together.

The easiest thing is copy each post in the thread for the assigned portion, paste them to a program such as MS Word or as the body of an email. The message could then be forwarded to the appointed person in charge for further editing.

I just wanted to let you all know that we are trying to come up with a solution to the huge amount of information on the eBay Thread.

If you would like to make some suggestions, I invite you to e-mail admin@wdwinfo.com . There is strength in numbers and hopefully soon we can "do something" about that thread.
