I am going with a group who LOVE relaxing on these kinds of lazy rivers . . . . what a great way to slow down and catch your breath on a crazy Disney day! :cool1:

If you had only the time for one of them, which do you choose (and why), Cross Country Creek at BB or Castaway Creek at TL? :rolleyes1

TL. The last two times we have gone to BB there have been tons of leaves and dirt floating around with us. We were not as impressed. Granted there are trees above but something just didn't seem right that day.

BB.

It's longer, for one.

Secondly, it's sunnier than TL's.

And unlike a PP - I always notice more leaves in TL lazy river versus BB. There are waaaaay less tree's.

There's a cave at BB, as well as sprinklers and water shooters, too.

I like BB better - and again - it's longer.

I like them both but I think TL is a better park - we like the new raft rides (Coconuts, Pineapple, etc.) . The park seems to be more relaxing and less of a stressful area - better landscaping, etc..:surfweb:

This might be a silly question but which seems to be the least crowded? We're talking mid-July, so I know they both will be. We're thinking of going down and doing a water parks only trip to use up our developer points from DVC.

No answers from me, but I'm curious about this as well so I'm bumping. :goodvibes

They will both seem crowded in July. I think capacity for BB is actually a little more than at TL so there are more people in the park who might be cooling off in the river. But then since most of the people who go to BB really like the slides; they are a little more likely to be waiting in the lines and on the slides. People who go to TL are always saying they like the atmosphere there better,so they may actually spend more time in the river than on the slides.

Both lazy rivers are great but I prefer the BB one simply due to the chilled waterfalls in the cave.I prefer BB overall as well, better slides and I prefer the theming.

Having spent many hours in both rivers (I stay in from open to close) I like the atmosphere of TL.

TL. It's a foot deeper than BB (BB is 2.5' deep) and wider than BB. You don't get bottled up as bad at TL as you do at BB.

TL by a country mile.

Sadly TL fills up faster than BB and sometimes we have been there during the peak USA holiday season and TL has been at capacity by 10.30. This means another bus to BB. From memory Disney had a direct bus running the last time this happened.

We seem to wake up later and later as the vacation progresses and this means we miss those early park times.

On a standard trip we will do TL 3 times and maybe BB once. We havent actually one BB for 3 years now and so I am rather looking forwards to going again.

On our trip end of May/early June, we went to TL at least four time, BB once.
