Sailed Disney Magic in 1998 but hadn't been on a cruise since. I finally convinced my DH to go on a Disney Cruise. After he huffed and puffed about how we could go on a cheaper cruise, I showed him the DVD and he was somewhat sold. Well, he was completely sold when we sailed March 18 - 22, 2012 on Disney Dream. We were celebrating our birthdays. I can't tell people enough how fantastic the trip was. It was just us two and we can be spokespeople on how the Disney cruises aren't just for children!

Palo was magnificent! Our server Corinne gave great recommendations and made sure all our needs were met for that dining experience. She was very friendly and seemed to love her job. The only downside was our main server was horrible! No recommendations, told me "no" or "I don't know" to everything I asked. I finally had to say something to guest services and he became a completely different person after that. I had to convince the DH to tip him, he was that bad. The assistant server was much better, friendly, engaging, and funny.

Our room was always cleaned even if we were gone for five minutes, our stateroom would have been fixed up within that time! The Atlantis excursion was delightful though it was kind of long but the Atlantis hotel is gorgeous. We went to shows, we rode bikes on the island, we ate and ate and ate! We rode the AquaDuck several times with my DH scaring kids telling them it was fast. It's not. The DH has vowed to never use another cruise line. He loved it so much! I'm not sure what else to say that hasn't been said already by others.

Forgot to add, he liked it so much we signed up for the 7-Night Eastern Caribbean on Disney Fantasy for March 2013! Excited!

Thank you for sharing! I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your cruise!! I saw that you were one the March 18th sailing for the Dream, I think this was the first Itinerary B cruise. I would love to see your navigators if you have them and have time to scan them and add a link to your trip report:-) We are sailing in May on an Itinerary B. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, hope you aren't having too bad case of Disney withdrawal:)

I'm glad to hear that your trip went so well!! And you have another cruise booked for 2013 - lucky you!

Since I'm fairly new to all of this, I had no idea that it was Itinerary B so you just told me something new. I do not have any of my navigators, they use the same ones? Something told me to take them home but I left them anyway. Didn't think of the forums! The only things I kept were my key to the world, dinner tickets, and the Palo thanks from our server.

I'm thinking we should have probably moved to 2014 but we were so excited.
