Actually, I rather enjoy this particular debate and I have lots of thoughts on it. I was raised Catholic in a strict family and 90% of my mom's side are alcoholics. My dh is not particularly religious and he doesn't drink often simply because, he doesn't. It's not part of what he believes. I often have this discussion with my friend who is devotely Mormon. I find the different views facinating....sheww...where did that come from!!!!

Kim, it's Emily that's sick. 4 is such a rotten age to be sick. too big to be carried around all day but to little to understand you're going to get better soon. As long as I keep her on Motrin she seems to be comfortable.

The energizer bunny?!?!?!? BWAHAHAHA!!!! I'll let ya'll in on a little secret...it's not the batteries....it's COFFEE!!!! Sheesh I know the stuff is bad for you but without it...well...I couldn't function!!! Seriously, I have always wanted to be a high energy person but I don't see myself that way. I have had medical problems since childhood requiring me to take many medications who's purpose it is to slow me DOWN!! I have always fought it and envied those who truly are energizer bunnies. So ya'll have given me lots of smiles tonight with my new title!! The energizer bunny...on rechargable lithium batteries no less!!! Cool! What I lack in energy I make up for in enthusiasm and a love for life and all it brings! Even with all of our problems, we are so lucky! Look...we found eachother!!
I love Bonnie's idea of a "Glo-con" kind of meet!! Wish you could all get to Virginia...we could have the meet at my house!! Who have I met on this thread? Well, none of you face to face ...yet ...but I have gotten snail mail from Jennifer, Kim, Elaine, and Bonnie! That's a start! Hmmm...at least one of you has my phone number!

We have had our share of bourbon slushies, Nyquil induced comas and codeine fogs lately haven't we? Phenegren is bad for you?? How come? It's the stuff drs. give you for nausea (among other things) right? I dunno. It's what our dr. gives us for coughs, etc... Bonnie? Jodie? Is Phengren bad for us??

Well, I haven't met a Dis'er yet either. I have talked with Dan on the phone a few times, and Shirley a time or two. Then, as Bonnie and Sherry mentioned, I had the opportunity to talk with them (and a few other wonderful Dis'ers!) during their Columbus zoo meet! That was so much fun!! I also talked briefly with a few at the Chicago meet that Elaine went to a few months ago. I've yet to meet my first Dis'er face to face though. Unless you count Nutsy...I really can't though, because I "knew" her online years before the Dis.

Oops! I goofed! Sorry about that Jennifer. Well, I do hope that EMILY begins feeling better soon!

Jennifer, I guess, officially it's just me, Jeannie and Michele on the Apolo side of the fence. I mean, they've both offered to counter attack so I'm assuming (HOPING) they're on our side. Jodie admitted to cute baby pics (they are!! ) and did send me the book and all, but not sure if this means she's totally on our side or not. We're a small army, but we're pretty tough, so I have confidence that we'll be able to hold our own against the anti-Apolo sentiments that seem to be growing around these parts.

Well... I should go do a little CB surfing, then it's time to go put new batteries in my flashlight. I wonder if Jodie has some bunny batteries I could borrow?!
