Jay, Ouch!! I have never had that much pain (even in childbirth - ok I had an epidural). You definitely win the pain o meter.

Betty, that is great that the school thinks that much of you. I am trying to find out what I need to have to get a certificate in FL. I am a procrastinator though, and I'm scared my 4 year degree isn't enough since I didn't major in elementary ed.

Well, gotta get the kids showered and fed since they are going to the in-laws to spend the night tonight. I will check in later.

OK, here's and all new kind of pain...... 9:30 am appointments for yearly exams for 2 children...get there 5 minutes early...taken into the room right away....wait until 10:40 for the doctor to come into the room!!!

Jennifer, I can relate to that dr's ofc story... except for the kids part.... don't have those. How about this instead. I show up at this one dr's ofc 10 min prior to my appt. End up waiting in the lobby for *over 1 hour*. Finally get taken back to the treatment room. Then end up waiting *ANOTHER* hour. That was the average. Some were longer than that. I had my first appt there at 2pm. I didn't leave till 6pm. The rest of the staff was gone. I found another dr soon after that, but not soon enough.

You definitely beat me too with pain Jay! I think the worst thing I ever felt was when my knee was hyperextended and popped out of joint. Swelled up about 2x normal size and was killing me for weeks after. Even now it still isn't the best.

Hey there Jennifer, sorry about that icky wait in the doctor's office. I bet they figured you needed all that time to get ready You definitely deserve the slushie!!!

A little boring would be nice Elaine I'm just starting to feel a little overwhelmed (Knew I would before the week was out leaving Friday for 3 days. Like to get all my ducks in a row before letting DH take over) earlier than I expected. Here's one more part of my painful day. THe bank managed to lose $450 out of our checking account. Took all the paperwork into the bank yesterday so they could see if they could find a mistake in our math. They CAN'T! sooo, now someone else is looking at it. If she can't find it, they will charge us $25 an hour to send it downtown to be sorted out.

....where's that slushie??!?!?!?!!?

Well if you really want to hear about my day, I could tell you but I think I might lose you in the technical junk I did. Mostly I was sitting on the phone with idiots at other telecom companies trying to coordinate some maintenance on a data line that is supposed to take place tonight. Frustrating and full of nitwits I was even getting some resistance in help from some people who work in the same company I do! How's that for "teamwork" I can tell you right now, the moment 4 PM hit, I was out the door quicker than you would believe

UGH! That doesn't sound fun at all Jennifer! How could they be so stupid to lose the money? No wait, don't answer, because I think none of us really want to know!

Yeah... where are those slushies, I've had a not so good night, I could use one!

Hi Elaine! Non-eventful is sometimes a good thing too. I call those catch up days. Those are the days when I'm finally able to get a few things done that I haven't been able to get to because one "event" after another prevents me from getting to them.

My day wasn't very interesting either...other than having to dodge a couple of fires to get home. There's a forest fire to the east of us, and a wood chip mill going up on the other side and the wind is blowing like CRAZY! Not good.

I have been remiss in my updates...sorry! I am juggling cub scout camp out, girl scout camp out and running a room parents meeting at ds's elementary school, as well as having a huge meeting today with a "top dog" in my Girl Scout council to OK my girl's bronze award service project...it is pretty impressive! Girl Scout administrative red tape has me too wondering where Betty is wioth those slushies!!!! I am....tired.

The slushies are ready. I hope I made enough. My day was full of 8th grade boys who act like spoiled brats. Two of the Five classes were a zoo because of 2-3 boys who were disruptive. I knew that the day was going to be fun. I sure felt sorry for the student teacher.
