The Disney Store Sale

I went to the TDS today and a few costumes were on sale. Mickey Fireman and Deluxe Princess costumes were 25% off. Some assorted character t-shirts were 50% off. (on sale for $5.25 for kids) There were a few other things on sale also. I can't rember right now.

I was there today and they had a pretty good sale going on. Costumes were 25% off. I bought t-shirts for 50% off. They also had winter clothes for kids 50%. We are leaving in 6 days, so I was mostly looking for t-shirts and souvenier type things. They had the "light up spinning things", halloween plush and halloween jelly suckers 50%. If I plan ahead, it saves me from buying too much in the parks. Oh, they also had adventure toys for 75%.

We were there last night. I was really disappointed in the sales. I don't think any costumes were on sale at all.

There was a small section in the back with 50% off - t-shirts, a couple of jackets, etc.

I was hoping to spend some money, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

there are only a few costumes on sale at 25% off. Alladar, Fireman Mickey, Nala, Pink Fairy and the Deluxe Cinderella. Other deluxe may be on sale but that's the only one they have at my store.

Costumes on sale: Pink Fairy, Shanti, Baloo, Shere Khan, Fireman Mickey, Nala (NOT Simba though), Aladar, Rollir Pollie Ollie (girl and boy), Deluxe Snow White, Deluxe Aurora, Deluxe Cinderella. Not all stores carry all these, however.

Costumes more or less sold out: Stitch, Red Power Ranger, Pocahontas, Belle.

Going fast: yellow power ranger, Mulan, Jasmine, Mickey.

FYI... A friend of mine has been waiting for the Cinderella costume to go on sale at TDS. She stopped by a store today and the costume was still not on sale. She mentioned to a CM that she saw the costumes on sale on the internet and was hoping the would be on sale at the store. The CM told that since she mentioned the sale on the internet, she would give her the 25% off!!

So, anyone out there waiting for the costume of their choice to go on sale at the store - try this... It just may work..

I mentioned it the CM at my store the other night, and in an admittedly rare case of rudeness, she just snapped at me, that yeah, they were on sale online, but they were just about sold out. I informed her that I knew the one I was looking at wasn't sold out, and then left. I think I'm going to just make DS's costume anyway. He wants to be Peter Pan and for the prices, I just don't like any of the costumes I've seen. DD is going to Wendy and I can't find a blue nightgown anywhere. She's 2. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My Disney store had the 50% off t-shirts marked down to 75% yesterday. I picked up 3 shirts for DS for christmas for $2.25 each with my DVC discount added on!

I was a happy camper to get a jump start on the holidays.

My TDS had the kids t-shirts 75% off along with 2 racks of adult t-shirts & some Tigger sweatshirts. There were Adventurer toys, Buzz walkie talkies, some spinning light up things, some stuffed animals (corduroy ones & baby Monsters ones), princess sweatshirts etc. also 75% off! Great sale day!!
