I'm not sure if this post belongs here, but I thought everybody here would like to know anyway, The Disney Store is having a receive a $10 giftcard with a $30 purchase thing right now. Or at least the store over here is, I assume they all are. I'm going to get my daughters Snow White costume right now! I'll just turn around and buy the accessories with the giftcard! Just thought I'd let you all know!

I just purchased, yesterday, my darling g'daughter's snow white costume, feeling very smug because I used the McD 20% coupon, If I had ONLY waited one more day, what a savings.
aghghghghg, I just hate that when a sale comes out the Day after I purchase.

They've been talking about this over on the budget board. You might want to check that thread out. You can't turn right around and use the $10 gift certificate, it can only be used for certain dates later in Sept. But that's still before Halloween, so your plan will work, just will take 2 trips.

Thanks, I figured that out at the check-out! But, thats ok, because I spent enough to earn 2 $10 cards! Woo-hoo! I've just got to remember to use them during the first week of September...hope I don't forget, hahaha! yeah, right!

buying a Disney Club card? Is that what it is called, the one that gives you a discount on room rates, park passes, etc. Can these be purchased at a DS?

hmmm, now that I am thinking about it, could I use this $10 at WDW stores?

The $10 can't be used on the DC card (you have to send away for that anyway); it also can't be used towards things like Disney Dollars, Gift Certificates, Pre-sales, Park Passes, and a few other things. I think the idea was to help people with back-to-school shopping, school supplies, etc. that alot of people would be shopping for Sept. 1 - 8.
