Hey everyone,
Since I didn't see any thread on disney movies, I am starting one :goodvibes

So allow me to start with Disney Movie Fun Facts.
I will start by giving a few examples of the "extras" I've seen in the disney movies. I Love when disney puts in these "hidden" aspects into their movies. It gives me a reason to justify watching a movie over and over. :rotfl:

:teeth: So If anyone knows any hidden extras in disney movies PLEASE share them :woohoo:

I will start it.

In Aladdin Sultan is playing with his toys, his stacking animal shaped figures. Beast is in the pile of figures

In "Tarzan," there is a tea pot that looks like Mrs. Potts (from "Beauty and the Beast") at Jane's campsite, seen just before the "Trashin' the Camp" scene

In Lilo and Stitch, There is Mulan reference in a restaurant near where Lilo adopts Stitch called "Mulan's Wok".

These are some of the many. ANyone else wanna share some :teeth:

Come on. I Know I'm not the only one to watch Disney Movies....right?... anyone...lol

I know in The Huchback of Notre Dame, in the "Out there" song, when the camera pans to the crowd, you can see someone that resembles Belle from Beauty & the Beast. At least I think it's there, I should watch it again just to make sure. :smooth:

I am a bad one to reply to this thread, because I have the worst memory ever. My family teases me that I can't remember about the movie we just walked out of the theater from seeing.

DD however has a memory like a steel trap, so I will ask her about any that she remembers. I do remember her saying something about Monster's Inc having a toy in Boo's room from a Disney movie and there is something in Finding Nemo as well. See, I told you I have a bad memory :lmao:

(I'll probably forget to ask her too  )

in like Finding Nemo when like there in the bags or wat not and u see the cars passing one of them is the Pizza Planet car from Toy Story i think that was it or sumthing like that.....

In Toy Story, the toolbox that Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) pushes off the milk crate bears the name "Binford Tools", the name of the company which sponsors Allen's character's show in "Home Improvement".

The Finding Nemo one is in the dentists office, you can see Buzz Lightyear I think.

These are really cool. I've joined the Disney Movie Club and have quite a few new ones (for me) coming in the next couple of weeks, I'll have to look out for these hidden gems. I've never noticed. I love Disney movies. Thanks for starting this thread. I'll keep checking back to see what others have found until I have time to watch the movies myself.

In Monsters Inc, Boo has a Jessie doll, I think. There is also a poster of a Disney movie on her wall.

In Toy story there is a Mickey Clock on the wall in Andy's bedroom. You see right when Buzz is about to fly.

Has anyone ever noticed the blue birds in the Disney movies?

There is some type of trivia about them but I don't know what.

In the Incredibles the purse theif scene there is a Mr. Incredible pez in the contents of the ladies purse.

In Hercules, there is a scene where Hercules is having his image painted on to a vase, when he steps off the platform and throws the fur he is wearing on the ground, you will notice it is Scar from the Lion King.

There is a hidden Mickey, Donald, and Goofy in the beginning of The Little Mermaid, in the scene where Ariel's father is sweeping down in his 'chariot' over the audience...the 3 Characters are in the audience.

In Beauty and the Beast, when Maurice is lost int eh woods and holds his lantern up to the signs, the bottom sign says "Anaheim", the location of Disneyland,

*Bump* Come on Everyone. There has to be more. THis is Disney we are talking about :D

Great Thread! I'll try to keep us going!

At the end of Monsters' Inc, when Sully returns Boo to her room - There's a Nemo stuffed Animal! What's neat about this one is that Monsters came out BEFORE Finding Nemo!

I just received a bunch of new Disney DVDs from the Disney Movie club. In one of the DVD's was a Disney DVD Insider flyer which had an interesting tidbit which I thought I should share here.

"Now for something EGG-STRA Special! Finding hidden extras on your Disney DVDs.

Guess what? There are Easter eggs hidden in your home. These are virtual Easter Eggs tucked away on your DVDs, so you don't have to run off and find them right this minute.

An Easter egg is a button that leads to a hidden DVD feature. To find the eggs, look for a "shadow" image that appears on a DVD menu. For instance, on the Finding Nemo DVD, the Easter Egg button appears as a small green fish. When you see it, press the ENTER key on your remote and the feature will appear.

Ready to hunt? Let's go! On Disc 1 of Finding Nemo, select the "Bonus Features" from the Main Menu. On the Bonus Features menu, highlight the Return to the Previous menu icon (a swirling arrow). Press the DOWN arrow key, and a green fish should appear on the top left portion of your screen. Press ENTEr. You'll see Dory and ... well, let's not spoil the surprise!

DVD fans spend hours pressing keys in different combinations to find Easter Eggs and post their results on the Web. Tips are as close as your favorite Internet search engine. By the way, we've even sprinkled a few clues to finding Easter Eggs on these pages. Just look for the Easter Egg in the margins. Happy hunting for your hidden treasures!"

The movie clues were for: Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Monster's Inc., Freaky Friday and Toy Story: The Ultimate Toy Box.

oh my god. I never heard of these Easter eggs. I am going to try this tonight. YAY another disney movie night. Oh and a heads up, on the Lion King 1 1/2, there is a hidden mickey feature in the bonus feature. My Disney Boyfriend and I were watching the whole movie just to find these hidden mickeys. :D
