The Disney Confessional

ok- here goes...

I have reused my mugs-mine and DH

I have lied x2 at san angel mexican rest in epcot that I had a ressie and I didn't-2 times; 2 seperate trips.

that's it, I have nothing else to spill.

I stretched an anniversary date by 2 months with one of my exes so we could get buttons. That's about it for my Disney sins, though.

I buy new mugs every trip (mainly because I would never remember to pack the old ones, and I like to get the new/different designs each trip).

If people want to reuse mugs and pool hop, I honestly couldn't care less. I have better things to do on vacation than worry about things like that.

Just had to join this thread to see what people confess... popcorn::

Haha. I always buy the refillable mug on the first day we get there .. but never remember to use it!!

I confess I put our refillable mugs in my backpack and if we happen to be at another resort we use...we're thirsty we dont want to waste snack credits no one has ever said anything. In fact before we did it the first time at the Poly we asked if we could use our mug as we bought it this trip even though we're from Pop and they said sure! Though this is still frowned upon im sure!

When I was 6 I lined hopped because my mom didnt notice she walked forward without me as I was looking at something so i cried til I found her...but people were nice and trying to help me find her (but at the age of 6 it was scary!!)

Bless me Jennasis, for I have sinned.......

We have held place in line while DH has run to grab a fast pass - effectively, according to Disboard rules, cutting line. We were new and didn't realize that was a sin at the time.

A few years back we stayed offsite and our friends were staying at POR. My daughter swam with their daughter at the POR pool even though we weren't staying on property, much less at POR. I can see the error in our ways. These two only children should have swum seperately that day at their own resort pools.

Please, please, please fellow Dis'ers - find it in your hearts to forgive us for our errant ways. I can only hope we are not banished from WDW and / or the Dis now. :guilty:

Allright, I'll play -- guilty of making back-up reservations for every night of our trip. Usually at our hotel, or a hotel close by on the monorail. Also guilty of showing up early for a reservation (over an hour) and acting like the error was theirs. It worked.

this is like the real "tip" thread everyone probably comes here for... taking notes for our next trip.. ;)

The only sin I've commited (so far) is the fast pass after the time one.. I had no idea this was a big no no..

When I was 8.5 months pregnant we were at MVMCP. We just got in line to meet Scrooge when I suddenly has to pee, and there was no waiting. I got out of line, ran to the bathroom, and ran back. (Yes I did literally run haha) I joined him back in line just in time to meet Scrooge.

OK I'll play.

Back in 1976, my first trip to WDW, I was with my ex-husband and my two teenaged stepdaughters (I was only 21, my first husband was quite a bit older than me). When we got to the park that morning we had told them that if we got separated for any reason, we'd all meet at a particular spot on Main Street at 6pm.

It was hot, crowded and those girls kept arguing with each other. So we told them to get into line at IASW and we'd wait for them. As soon as they got out of the line of sight, we beat a hasty path to the monorail, went to the Poly, and sat in the bar for a few hours drinking.

Having been raised Catholic, I know better than to sin, because nothing annoys me more than to sit in the confessional and come clean!!

Bless me Jennasis, for I, too, have sinned.

Back in the day (circa 1991) my friend and I were kicked out of (or would it be off of?) Pleasure Island for underage drinking. I can't remember the name of the club, it had many levels and a live band was playing "Black Velvet". It was an 18 and over club (we were JUST 18) and we met some guys who bought us drinks and shortly after I felt a hand on my shoulder.... got brought to the managers office, escorted out of the club and off Pleasure Island.

The next time I went to Disney I was nervous to go to Pleasure Island!

This is a big one, and I hope I am not judged too harshly.

A few years back, DH and I had seperated in MGM with the kids. He took two of them, and I had our oldest. I am not sure where he went with them, but I told him to meet us at the Little Mermaid, because we would be going to the next showing. When DS and I got in line, we were around the building...looong line. The line started moving, but we got cut off for that show. We were probably the 4th or 5th family in line for the next show. We waited about 15 minutes in the original line, and now we were looking at waiting another 30 minutes for the next show.

Perfect timing of DH and kids. They were just getting ready to move the line in, and I see my DD. I motioned for them to join us. I'm SORRY! I'm SORRY!

It was not planned. They just happened to be there, because they were expecting us to be coming out. Since we hadn't made it in yet, why not see the show together?

(Ahem...) I HAVE RE-USED MUGS FROM 1996-2003!!! THERE I admit it!:confused3 LET THE CHIPS FALL WHERE THEY MAY!

this is a bad one. at least i think so. I used to work at Disneyland in like the 1995-96 time frame. I loved working there and loved all the backstage areas and secret hideouts and stuff. so it had been a few years since i had been to DL, and by this time DCA was open. I was with 2 friends and we were drinking and having a little ( a LOT) too much fun. We ended up getting separated, i was by myself for about 2 hours. I "accidentally" went backstage at DCA and looked around for about an hour. I have NO idea how i didnt get caught or in trouble. I would NEVER do it now, i was young and drunk, but it was fun ! I dont know how i got away with it though, i have tattoos that were visible, it was quite obvious i wasn't a cast member back there. The BEST part about it, well the most "sinful" i suppose is that i found the area where the Electrical parade was stored and i went and looked at it all up close and i took one of the little lights. I know im horrible. The scariest part was trying to get back in the park. I had wandered far from where i started, and i couldnt find an entrance back in , i was panicking thinking im for sure going to get caught, luckily i found an entrance eventually. I was about 23 i think when this happened, and had WAY to much to drink, i no longer drink and would never even think about doing this anymore. but that is my Disney Sin. Sorry !! You said no Sin is too big !

Disney sins:

-- I have taken a pool towel to my room to use as an extra towel (to wrap my hair in) for my stay.
-- I have taken two small towel animals hoem with me.
-- I have reused a mug (okay so last years are the same as this year's. We did a split stay where we had two different dining plans and the dining plan at the beginnin gof our trip did not include mugs, so we used ours from last July at the beginning of our stay and then when we switched hotels and had the dining plan with mugs we got our new ones).
-- Husbter and I have figured out a system for multiple rides using FPs and Child Swap passes (no baby disgusies needed).
-- We get FPs in the morning and use them at night.

I pardon you.

I also thought DL didn't serve alcohol...but maybe it's things like your trip backstage that are the real reason MK is "dry".
