What's your opinion on the new Disney Club? I had the Magic Kingdom Club card last year and wasn't to impressed with the discounts given. Any improvement on that. Is it worth the $30.00 fee? :D

I am still wondering this. I have always paid for my card. Felt I got my money's worth. But now I am not too sure. I love TDS and in past have spent enough through the year to cover the card. But my kids are getting older and the stuff doesn't seem to grow with them. I never really get a good discount since we stay at Fort Wilderness and the annual pass always seems to give a better discount.
I know that didn't answer your ??? but I would look at their site and figure when you are going and staying. Plus $30 isn't that much to waste if you just want to try it

I used my card during the holiday season for discounts on X-Mas gifts.

I got the discount on our room for next month which saved over $400.

We plan to get a discount on our hopper passes at the resort with DC discount...I think it's 5%

Plus we use it for a discount at disney's mini golf, DisneyQuest and at restaruants while we are there.

We got a discount on our rental car from Dollar last year. This year we got National through Priceline, so we didn't use it.

I think it's worth it for us! We visit each year for 10 nights and it's quite a savings for us.

Good luck on your decision.

what did u pay per day...

they have some nice discounts now through national using the Disney Club code.....20% off base rate......which was 22 $ a day this last week for some feb dates...

I joined since we will be traveling to Disney in March. I was surfing their website and found a coupon for Disney On Ice, buy one get one free. Bought my tickets last Sunday. Saved $24 almost the cost of the club. So I am happy. Noticed that offer is off the website earlier this evening so I guess you must check the site often for all the deals offered.

is on the back of the card and works as an entertainment card all across the usa for food[even Orlando],hotels[except orlando]and much more. I got 20% off at my favorite cafe' the Hungery Hippo!!

Even though I'm not crazy about the DC customer service (i'll give them some more time to get it together!) the discounts at the DS way exceed the small membership fee!
Plus the discounts on ticket media, DD shopping, rooms.....

yes! Definetly worth every penney!!!

The web site is useless, though!

JMHO......

lawgs - I got an intermediate through Priceline for $15.00 a day. There is only 3 of us this time so I'm sure it will be quite comfy.

That was my first bid, I was happy to get National!

This was my first time having it, and we've saved a lot on rooms alone. I got Poly concierge garden view for just a little over $300/night which put us at the price for a regular garden view room. For us,the DC was worth it.
