I kind of think of the CB as my back porch in an ever-changing neighborhood. You just never know who may move in next door. I don't mind the dirty details, I don't mind those who are controversial, it makes for interesting conversation, usually.

The only types of posts I don't care to read are those where its basically two people having a conversation back and forth and the rest of the group is excluded. I always want to jump in on those and tell the people to try the PM feature.

Other than that, I'm pretty flexible to changes on the CB. I do miss some folks that used to post here and remember them fondly. Hopefully they will find their way back here one day.

Blondie-Not everybody banned IMHO was spreading hateful/attacking views, alot of the bannings'and this may be hard to believe) are as as much back door politics as anything else.
EROS-We can always use help dealing with perps with a "heavy hand" escpecially if the aclu is kept away. Now how did you get a picture of my partner!!! And we are allowed to do searches of females in exigent circumstances but do try to get a female to do so to avoid complaints. But the reality is that most females we arrest neither men or women want to do the search and the wearing of double gloves is a neccisity!!

You're right, I do remember those who wished several DIS members a Happy Birthday, and congratulated them on a new job. You're right, they needed to be banned, and banned fast!

Eros, I have a feeling that regardless of where they hide their handguns, you wouldn't mind retrieving them! And Bob could handcuff and place them under arrest for carrying a concealed weapon!

I agree 100%. I used to moderate a message forum (elsewhere) and I left because if you disagreed or didn't have your Mickey Mouse ears on the thread would be locked. (I'm not talking about controversial things either) It was scary! I'm pleased that these boards are much more lenient when it comes to expressing opinions/thoughts.

For the community board, I don't know. I read it, but don't understand the people who post about the details of their personal lives. I've never understood the emotion that people bring to these boards. I could not and never would post details about my lives the way I have seen people on these boards do
