I myself started to panic but keeping in mind the day thought okay maybe it is a joke until I scrolled down to the bottom of the message and it clearly stated APRIL FOOLS......I then knew it was a joke and dismissed this crazy notion

here are a few

classic fart machine or whoopie cooshin at the table

whip cream on his hand then use a feather to tickle his face

what ever time he goes to sleep tell your parents about this though set his clock and all the other clocks in the house forward 2 hours

if he has a vmk ile go on it then change stuff around

go into his room and put some of your stff in it if u a girl put some shirts of your on the hanger that look exatcly like ones he has and take some of the other cool looking ones away and hide them . Its funny

Not to offend anyone, but it says "April Fools" right at the bottom of the original post. And there are 4 pages of "say it ain't so!" messages. Uh... why? That reading thing can "get" you every darn time!

Ummmm... the first post was edited after the hub bub, bub.

It was a convincing prank, which is the best kind. Even so, for those who have come to Dis through the VMK board, it did appear to be a concern. Those concerns should have been calmly voiced and also should not be discounted.

And now back to the madness of Narnia wardrobe fever!!

Yes it is that day of the year. And personally I love a good joke. I admit it can be scary sometimes.
I talked to my best friend Krazypete this morning and the first thing he says is:I'm quiting VMK. Right away i am sad and tell him that he can't do that. (I didn't tell him this but I would miss him too much)
Later he tells me that it is a april fools joke.... Then I can laugh again.
About half an hour later we were talking about a girl on VMK that thinks that Krazypete and I are the same person. And that she accuses Krazypete of telling her a lie about his life. So after a while I tell Krazypete that it is for the best that we don't see each other on VMK anymore because I feel bad for him and for that girl.
He thought I was talking for real but did I get him back with my April fools joke...

Well I read the post at 10:00am this morning and there was no April fools on it at that time I sat and thought as my stomach fell. What!!! Wait it is april fools. So I will just put this in another spot in my brain and deal with this later. I figured if it was April fools this post would not last long because so many were following for it. But it did come from head moderator so I was confused but not heart broken and then forgot about it all day till now. Now does that make me a bad uncaring person. LOL

No too busy in VMK to remember the doom that was to happen I guess

It is with great sadness that we must announce that effective Monday, April 3, 2006; the VMK DIS boards will be shut down. With so many children on the board, It's become too difficult to maintain the privacy and safety of our posters and we can no longer be responsible for the liability of this forum.

You have all been great and I'm sure there are many other boards out there where you can discuss your love of VMK.

I'm really sorry everyone, I'm truly going to miss this board and the people here.

Hopefully, I will see you all in VMK.
