Wow Since my last post I have been real busy still trying to organize my house from a move I feel like I am still making. EX is being tolerable and since my explosion he has asked me not to call him at the house he is currently residing at because the wife of the house doesn't want me to call there. I told him that if he is going to be allowing our son to visit him there I will be calling there as long as our son is there. He was not happy about this. I also told him that plan on having his son every saturday and friday nights because currently I will not be home as a friend of mine and I are having a great time planning road trips which cost me 20.00 in food because the company pays all else. He was unhappy about this I think more because I am getting the life he told me too. I really feel this wife of the house is making it hard for us to resolve our issues because she is feeding his ear with stuff that I am not going to do or doing.
We have had our ups and downs but I think it is getting better. I still want him to come home so we can work on us but I don't see that happening real soon.

I am enjoying my job and have made some nice new friends there. I finally got my first paycheck and felt liberated with my new found income. Although it just paid a bunch of bills it was real comfort to know I didn't need to ask EX about money.

Onto TODAY..EX is coming over for dinner because my son asked him too.. He said he is still coming since I comfirmed this with him daily since monday. I am not making anything special just stuff I would normally make for dinner. I hope all goes well and it works. I am planning on just being around because I am here and allowing him and Dorian to spend some time together here. I am not planning on talking about anything important but will be making dinner and going about the normal routine. WISH ME LUCK...

Some people (very few), on the Dis, know a bit about my troubles but, not the full extent.

All I can say is, I would appreciate some support with dealing with a (d)h that is oblivious to LIFE as it happens, especially in THIS house and, he has NO REGARD whatsoever to how his indifference/uninvolvement makes me feel, on a day-to-day basis.


The past year has been especially rough. I went to DisConII in December 2002 by MYSELF and, had no problems, until I came home.

WE have NO communication literally and, I have been sleeping on the couch every night for a loooonggg time!

I have been verbally degraded and insulted and, I have taken at-home measures but, it isn't enough apparently...he still couldn't care less.

I don't know what's left for me, besides another divorce......I can't DO that again.

I am so sorry you are so hurt and upset...I want to offer my HUGS and PD...I am not even remotely someone to offer any advice but I will say I can support you with whatever decision you make.....

Good morning my friends. first I'm on vacation the last two weeks in August but I should be able to check in once or twice (I'll use my mom's computer) but in case I don't I will be constantly thinking of all of you and hoping that yout lives will brighten. Kim Raye I'm so sorry you are having troubles. This is a great thread and you'll find lots of support. I haven't heard from the job yet that I really want but I did set up another interview while I'm on vacation. Where I am now is going well, I've really tried to do the best job I can because I would really like to leave (whenever that is!) on a very positive note. that's about all the news. Have a great, positive, wonderful, loving day everyone.

jamsmom -- Sorry again that the librarian position didn't work out for you. I don't think you're being irrational at all, I think you're being responsible and figuring out how much you really have to make in order to live.

Ok, got that out.....

Wow what a day....Seemed to be such a normal unthreatning day....Stopped at Walmart before work to pay my layaway....get back to the car....it wont start....

My poor wonderful husband sacrificed his lunch break to come bail me out as one of our close friends was unable to for a dumb reason......Long story short, he helped me push my car out of its spot, down the row to the empty spots, and jumped the car. Started right up. Luckily it was a SuperWalmart and went right to JiffyLube Express and got me a new battery. So I got to work at 2:30 instead of 1...Oh well....


KimRaye....Welcome..I started this thread in hopes of helping others....We are supportive and will offer any possible advise we may have for you. I understand about sleeping on the couch, have done it MANY times....spent more nights alone this year so far than together... Do u have children? How long have u ben married? Anything more you can share? If not, we feel for you.

Rajah....no, no pool yet....I am off work tomorrow, so maybe then...luckily the sun has been out so that is a blessing.

Me I had a good weekend. Saw Freddy vs. Jason and also american Wedding with another couple we go out with. Spent Sunday in my pool.....FINALLY!!! Otherwise a good weekend....Heres to another work week...

Well, I don't know about everyone else, but I personally have been doing pretty well the past little bit. I know Serena was having computer problems that she may not have been able to get fixed yet. Don't know where everyone else is, but I hope their silence is because things are going well.

Since this a place to vent...I must, as I had the worst week. Couldn't wait to use our timeshare for the first time since we bought it. It was from 8/8-8/15

On 8/7 My DD broke her finger running down the hall in our house, she jammed her pinky finger on the door frame as she was running and broke it. Orthopedist sets it, Have to keep it dry and protected.

On 8/8 we flew to Florida, uneventful (Thank God)

8/9 we celebrated my mothers 80th birthday in Orlando, nice to see all our relatives from all over the country, another uneventful day

8/10 My other DD falls off the see saw at the resort and everytime she moves her arm it hurts. kept her arm straight down the whole week. No swelling and she can move it (although painful)

8/11 Call home for messages and find out our friend passed away suddenly, from Sarcodosis. Anyone ever hear of this disease? No symptoms, just fell down and died, He was 42, leaving a wife and 2 and 3 yr old daughter.

8/12 and 8/13 Although uneventful, we were just sick about our friends passing.

8/14 Got a call that that my uncle passed away. A blackout hits NY, so glad we didn't have to deal with it.

8/15 Came home

This has been such a bad week, it makes me wary about going on vacation again. I'm sure I will feel different in time, but I am so sad about all that has happened.

Sounds like you need a vacation to recover from your vacation!! I'm sorry you had such a traumatic trip. And I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. I hope your daughter feels better soon if she isn't already. *hugs*

Thank You all for your thoughts and prayers. Just was so sad today as we buried my uncle and then went to visit our friends grave, and then when I saw this thread, I just had to post on it.

Thanks Again for your warm thoughts.

I really do need a vacation. When I told my administator what happened , she told me to take tomorrow off and relax. So after a 9 a.m. doctor appt tomorrow with little DD I will relax talking to my buddies on the DISboards.

I need advice big time

I'm in a long distance romance of almost a year(yea me!).I'm trying to find ways to keep me and DBF connected since we don;t get to talk much right now(hopefully I'll see him soon but the distance is only making our love stronger).I just know this:the best b-day present is for us to be together on my b-day next week
