You just don't know how close I came this summer to throwing in the towel here and going out west (lower humidity). But I feel that way EVERY summer.

Cold, during the holidays - is SUPPOSED to happen!

Unfortunately, it rarely does...I'm storing up all this cool air this morning and putting it in the fridge until Christmas, just in case.

Yes it is her first litter. She is getting better, she just wants to lick them to death..LOL...good thing is I dont have to poop them..LOL

Pebbs, I dont mind cooler air, just not 85 during the day, 50's at night...Body had zero time to adjust....

Nothing says FL, like buying a Xmas tree in shorts...

I am doing a check in...

Pups doing well...Miracle(the pup we are keeping) is slowly getting bigger compared to her sisters and brother(who is a little rolly polly ). I am still running home on my lunch breaks to get them fed. I have found that I am having dreams about the puppies...Like I swear they are in the bed with me and are getting squished, or are cold or something, and I wake up in the middle of the night feeling around for them...till I come to my senses and relieze I am nutso..
People tell me this is a good thing, means I will make a good attentive mom..LOL...funny thing is, DH is doing it too..LOL..

Anyways, I have also enjoyed coming home from work and picking them up and holding them. They have wonderfully soft fur and smell so good..

I will post some new pics on Thurs...I am off to Disney Quest tomorrow, So I will see u guys on Thurs..

Wow, it's good to see this thread again. I thought that it had died. I could definitely use some advice.

DS has been struggling with the flu for several days and he was diagnosed with bronchitis and mild pneumonia today on top of that. The doctor had lines of sick people practically extending out the door so I didn't want to keep him but I'm a little nervous about the pneumonia. Is anyone familiar with that condition? We have lots of medicine and he seems to be doing OK but I don't want to take anything for granted.

dax, congratulations on the new babies. I can't wait to see the pics.

I know that you have to be careful of pnumonia but as long as they are looking after it.
I have a problem though. My foster son needs a job. He is almost 24 and doesn't have a job. He has applied to many different companies for a job and no one is taking him up on it. The real problem that has come up though. He needs a blank check for a temperary job that he does have. But in order to do that you have to have a bank account. In order to have a bank account you have to have identification. You need a birth certificate, drivers licence, credit card.......... He "lost" his birth certificate, doesn't have a drivers licence or a credit card. He has no other identification. He needs someone who knows him for 2 years to give him a recomendation for the birth certification and he has only lived here for a year. AHHHHHHHHHHHH This is driving us (ME) NUTS......
