well i set my alarm for 8am and promptly turned it off and rolled back over...then andrea called and right as i hung up with her, my neighbor decided to rev up his stupid hot rod so i said to heck with it and got up...went to my bank and went to post office to mail off that book they sent here instead of in MV i also sent her some highlighters and a few other little tidbits...went and deposited some money in tiffs acct. at her bank, then went to the store and got some shrimp and cocktail sauce, watermelon and ice to make peach tea yum...and i finally got sweeney todd plus the chipmunks movie ive already seen them but i reall want to see them again started doing some laundry...says its supposed to be 80º here today...its about 70 right now...i think it will be hotter than 80 but we shall see...hope everybody has a good afternoon...ttyl

Slow day around here...

DBF just called me. He was using a razor blade to clean the fish tank and he sliced his finger to the bone. He said it won't stop bleeding and the bad thing is that he drove me to work today so he could use my car so I have no way to get home to take him to the urgent care. He says it's not that bad and that he doesn't think it need stiches but I know he's just being tough.

He said it won't stop bleeding and the bad thing is that he drove me to work today so he could use my car so I have no way to get home to take him to the urgent care. He says it's not that bad and that he doesn't think it need stiches but I know he's just being tough.

Rule of thumb for injuries.. won't stop bleeding ----- time for stitches!

Bleeding nonstop is a must do stiches event, the body won't be able to heal the wound. Have him wrap it tightly (not touniquet) lots of pressure, and drive in to get stitched up. If he goes during the day to urgent care it won't be as bad as a wait.

Now go kick his butt!

Now begins the apt hunt-- blaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. At least we kind of know which places looked decent in the area. I have a few possibilities and knwo which ones were SCAREEEEEEEEY One looks ok online, but when we visited it as apotential-- I can see all sorts of issues.. too big of a complex and not enough reliable staff to keep it safe. I noticed they dropped the rent price by $100 bad bad bad sign.

I told him to call me if he really feels like he can't drive and I will find a ride home and then take him to the urgent care. I got some butterfly stich things out of the first aid kit here at work so I'll take those to him. There is also some powder that you can put on a wound to stop the bleeding. Have you ever heard of this?

dont kill me pix but honestly megan...i dont think the pancakes are all that great..in fact the last 2 times I went to RB for breakfast the food was cold and also stayed on my stomach all morning long and well into the afternoon...that being said, i do their fruit plate....






based upon pics ive seen and what I saw of her last year I have to agree with alex...shes very big boned for one thing and so tall...I mean she was as tall as samantha (andreas then just turned 4 dd) last june...you know staley, and this is a suggestion only, why dont you consider learning how to sew...for one it will give you something to do and also as she grows older its going to become harder and harder to find really cute clothes that she probably will want to wear but if you know how to sew then it wont be an issue at all

Gosh!! I hope he is okay. Dh is ALWAYS getting something cut open. I think that since we met 6 years ago, he has ended up in the ER 4 or 5 times... Just from getting hurt at work. Gashes and whatnot.

I'm sure he'll be fine. He never goes to the Dr. Last time he cut his thumb open when he was recarpeting the boat he just wrapped it with duct tape or electrical tape and kept right on working.

he IS going to the dr. right? he cant leave it like that because it will start to heal and his finger will stay unstraightened...i think you should take him in sarah...this isnt something to mess with...if its sliced to the bone he needs to go in...

then i totally am glad i told you because if it affects you the way RB does me then forget it...I dont normally have breakfast early on anyways...by 10 or 11 im ready but if I am going to eat at noon i will hold out...

Hello Hyenas, I wasn't feeling well last night. I couldn't sleep and had the worst abdominal pain. It turns out I have a UTI!! I took some meds and am feeling a bit better but I think I will take a nap.

Wow, you hyenas are MIA today. It's so hot today! It's a few degrees lower than yesterday but I've been staying indoors with the A/C on. It's just too darn hot! I'm glad I was able to take a short nap today. It really helped.


I got my shipment of Victoria's Secret stuff today. I ordered a pair of capri pants from their Pink line. It's really comfy and thin and is perfect for this hot weather.

I cleaned out my side of the closet. Here's some of my bags. I tried to make it look neat:

The rest of my bags are inside big storage containers in my closet (for more space and easy access). I put some books and such in boxes and moved them to the garage. Now it looks much cleaner.
