So this toe problem is a result of a bunion surgery overcorrection 5 years ago. Well, I guess we dont know that for sure because he said there was a lot of scar tissue that might have pulled it over and I believe it was told to us as a risk. Its not just a toe problem but without going into the whole foot situation I'll call it a toe problem.

So, my brother suggested that he should do this for free because he thinks he messed it up the first time. Again we are not 100% sure on that but he thinks we should press the issue.

here is the thing. My moms' surgeon is GORGEOUS. He has this wonderful sense of humor too and the way he talks just melts your heart. He did my surgery on my foot a few years ago and I remember just being in love with him I dont remember what he said in the consultation. They are also a group of great well known DR's that always get the Phoenix magazine top DR list honors and do all of the Diamondbacks and phoenix Suns surgeries as well.

Ok so we were all set to go in there all ready to bring this up right. We are giving ourselves a pep talk and had determined that my brother should have come up for the appt to settle this because we were afraid we were not tough enough for it. Now my mom can negotiate anything mind you but this DR is a whole other matter.

So after he jokes around with us and pours on the charm and flashes his baby blue eyes he walks out and we stand up look eachother straight in the eye and my mom says "Well, I think we handled that extremely well don't you" We both bust out laughing because neither one of us said ANYTHING about it to him. We were in his trance and under his spell when he was in the room. She paid her $250 copay and said I dont feel like fighting this he's just too perfect of a person.

My brother calls to see how it all went and if we said anything and my mom said something like "Shawna and I took care of it exactly how we thought we would" and she changed the subject

He's just too cute. I cant wait for him to come out and talk to me privately about the surgery tomorrow!

Aww thank you. Yes its tomorrow. I'll be on if the hospital has internet she said she would bring her notebook for me otherwise I wont be on for a few days probably while I take care of her. I might try to check in though.
