So I don't have time to go back over everything, but a couple of things stuck out to me from this afternoon.
First..............Shawna, you crack me up. You are not a bad Mom, even though you went a
WHOLE 2 blocks without Jake in a carseat.

Good grief women, if that happens again, calm down, and don't be so paranoid! I can just see you..................looking around, feeling all quilty and BAM!!!

Oh the justice of it all.

Anyways, the police or the CPA are not out to get you. They have alot more serious cases than this, to worry about! You have to remember this story to tell your kids later.
Now for a little humble pie from me. And then you can
preach to me about the "justice of it all."

Do you remember that last week I gave a baby shower, and my friend and I were doing alot of baking and cooking for it. Thursday night, we were working on the last of it at her house, cuz her kitchen is bigger than mine. Anyways, I usually poor myself a glass of wine for the evening. Well by the time I was finally ready to go to her house, I had already poured myself a glass. Now remember, I live in the country with alot of nothing in between our homes.....................including traffic. So I thought, I'll just take my glass of wine with me to her house, which is only about 1/2 mile away. But I was like you.............an open container in my car? What if I got stopped? Well I knew that was far fetched, cuz nobody is around here hardly. So I carefully put it in the cup holder. Kailtlyn was with me. So I drove very carefully to her house so I wouldn't spill it.....................but just as I was pulling into their bumpy drive, I wasn't paying attention, and guess what??????????????????? The wine glass flew and spilled all over my car's carpet.
Red wine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My car is only 1 year old, and it just turned over 10,000 miles. Pretty new to me yet. All I could think of was "Why oh why did I ever think I could get away with that?"

I had never done anything like that before, and now I just ruined the carpet.

So I ran into my friend's house in a panic

and got carpet cleaner. And scrubbed good. The next day, the stains looked kind of yellow. So I got some OxyClean, and scrubbed some more. Doesn't look too bad now.
The moral of the story for someone like me...........................it doesn't pay.
And just because you were a little late picking Jake up, is sooooooooo normal.
You know that your children are blessed to have you as their Mom. I mean that!!!
