Good morning, hyenas!
:sunny: :cool1: :sunny: :cool2: :sunny: party: :sunny:  :sunny: :smooth: :sunny:

You should have seen my kids this morning! "Ahhh! I can't see!" Poor little moles.
Both insisted on wearing sunglasses to walk to school. :lmao:

Shawna :goodvibes thanks for the update...you had us worried

What a lovely family. When I'm hospitalized my family does mischevious things like steal wheelchairs and have races, go exploring around the hospital, open up cabinets and closets and dig through them, blow up gloves and decorate my room. Sad but true!

When my mom was in ICU for a diabetic coma my dad (her ex) tattooed (fake) her ankle, brought candy wrappers and hung them all over the room, and brought her the pads she requested in a Dunkin Donut box :rotfl2:

I love my MIL and I don't think that I would kill her. But I'm willing to bet that I would be either in the looney bin or needing some serious medication if I had to live with her!

I love my MIL too, she is wonderful, and I think i could deal with her better then most people

I have been worried about that lately. I SURE hope my flight doesnt get canceled!!:headache:

oh dear... I think Mikalah just told me she barfed in her room.

:scared1:

I could live on Mexican food! Love cooking it, love eating it! As a matter of fact I had rolled tacos, refried beans & rice for lunch today.

I LOVE mexican food. I could eat it 24/7. DH thinks I am crazy because even if I am sick that is the only thing that sounds good. He was quite convinced that both of our kids were going to come out hispanic ;)
Phew... No puke! :yay: :lmao: :lmao:
:cool1:

Yeah, I didn't get the two shirt deal, I was confused. Then somebody said they were for certain days of the event. Ah, well... The blue would look hideous on me, but I should rock the brown! Plus it has a pretty pink crown! :lovestruc :thumbsup2

Uh...I don't have a shirt and have not even ventured over onto the other thread. Am I welcome without a shirt to just hang out with you guys...are there rules...this sounds complicated

Lots of people didnt' even get a shirt, or only got one, so no worries. It was just a fun extra for the trip, that's all. They're wearing the brown/black one on Saturday, and the blue one I think on Sunday (or maybe Friday?) And if you really want to, you can wear my brown one as a dress! :rotfl:

I like a few Mexican dishes, but it's never been my favorite. My mom used to treat my sister and me to her favorite Mexican restaurant every once in awhile, and I always ordered a hamburger, used to drive her nuts. :rotfl:

It didn't help when I got food poisoning after eating at Taco Time once. UFF, I nearly had to go to the hospital because I couldn't stop, but my sister brought me some popsicles, and that's what finally helped. But I couldn't eat Mexican food for like 3 years! :scared1:

:scared1: I don't think Disney allows this! :rotfl: J/K. I don't think everyone ordered the shirts so you'll be fine.

Just popped on to say Good Morning and see how Shawna's mom was doing. So glad to hear that that they figured out the meds and got things squared away!! Hopefully they will let her out of the padded cell soon. On my last couple of days in the hospital I started complaining about the uncomfortable bed, etc....The RN told me that's a sign that you are ready to go home when you start complaining about things. So it's a good sign she's complaining about the ankle pain.

Wow, didn't realize that they had 6 people in one room! I got to have my own private room at the hospital. Usually they make 2 people share, but my doctor ordered that my room be kept at 80 degrees to help make the transplant successful. Apparently heat keeps the blood vessels open wide and blood pumping to the transplanted area. It felt good to me, plus they kept loading my chest full of warm blankets every hour. However, after about the 4th day they could turn the heat down. All of the nurses commented on how it was like walking into a sauna! Then even turned a fan on that pointed towards the side of my bed where the nurses have to stand so they could cool down some! The nursing assistants that kept coming in to take my BP and temperature kept trying to open the door and turn the heat down! So my RN finally put a big note on the door and in the room to keep the heat turned up!:scared1:

Oh and Alex....my little mole body is sitting here at my desk with my sunglasses on because that bright orb is shining through my window. Feels good, but I think I'm blinded!

I think the blue is for Friday but I'm wearing mine on Sunday since I'll be getting in late on Friday.

Thanks...I think ....:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

I understand the Mexican food fear...I had the same thing with Chinese for a while. Chinese food is just as accurate as a pregnancy test with me. Can't eat it, and cannot smell it. One day at work I ordered some with the other people in the office, it didn't go so well, and on the way home I bought a pregnancy test....then they had to go out for chinese the next 9 months :rotfl2: . I still love it now, but it took a bit to get over it

Ain't it great???

GEESH, 80 degrees? My DH probably woulda passed out! My folks keep their house pretty warm these days (though not that warm) and we keep ours pretty cool (68-69.) DH has to go stand outside in the cold for awhile each visit, otherwise he gets a pounding headache from being too warm. His dad is the same way.

Actually MY dad used to be the same way, he used to keep the temp very chilly when we were young, and we had to layer up. Always wore a sweater or sweatshirt plus a blanket. My dad started getting chilled around the same time my mom was going through menopause, so they had a rocky couple of years for awhile there! :scared1: :lmao:

So I can't believe how that worked out yesterday. I seriously went with the approach I described...I called DH, asked him if I was still working at 2pm, and could I have the weekend off in two weeks, and could he call his parents to watch the kids. He was :scared1:  :faint: and asked if he had to move into the guest bedroom...

I guess I should explain this one. His brother has been married for probably 7 years...decided about a year or so into his marriage that he was bi...so he and his wife have had a very unique relationship (that they give us details on :scared: ). Well, he text messaged DH yesterday that "wife has a friend, I am now sleeping in the guest bedroom". So now it is kind of our joke (I SWEAR DH was adopted :rotfl2: )

Back to the story...so I got to work, DH called his parents (after he realized I would be somewhat "safe" with Shawna, and would not do anything to get myself into trouble :confused3 ) and they all agreed :rolleyes1 :woohoo:

Oh, he's convinced Shawna won't put the moves on you, huh? :rotfl2:

WOW. And I thought MY family was... interesting! :rotfl:

From a very early age I felt I just didn't fit in with my family, and I convinced myself I was adopted. I begged my mom to "tell me the truth!" She finally produced my birth certificate, and I cried. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: I guess he is not too concerned about it  . I told him (all over the phone in a crazed tone) that I would just jump in her car, and she already had a room I could share...no wonder why he told the employees I was crazy and had lost my mind

His family is definitely up there his brother - wow - and everyone in the family knows except his dad (who would FREAK). Then we have his nephew's wife who will probably spend 3 years in jail we are guessing... Anytime we see them the joke is that no one can do anything stupid because we can't handle another news story :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: ( I guess I have to behave in DL then)
