Well I am back doing the wight thing lol, the girls at work are doing a fruit diet starting tomorrow, meaning fruit for breakfast and lunch then a proper meal at night
 
I'm really happy, dropped another 3lbs this week so total of 6lbs in two weeks!! I know it's likely to slow down soon but I'm feeling better already. My jeans feel a little loser, my t-shirts aren't riding up my stomach quite as easily and I have much more energy (too much really - up at 8, work all day and still wide awake at midnight!)

Had a bad day today, Pizza Hut for lunch, drink at Starbucks and chippy for tea but in fairness, my best mate from school was up who I hadn't seen for 18 months so I don't really care - will just carry on being good for the week and one day's naughtyness won't matter.

I lost another 1lb this week, trying to stay off the biscuits etc and eating fruit and drinking lots of flavoured water which seems to be working.

Well done Sophie and Musketeer. I'm sorry to say that I'm going to 'wimp out' of weighing in this week because I know the damage is gonna be bad, after the weekend and giving up smoking. I did jokingly say to DH this morning that I'd rather be a skinny smoker than a fat non-smoker but I don't think he realises how worried I am about putting on the weight again :sad2: I am not going to weigh in on Wednesday and try really hard over the next week to stay off the cigarettes and on the diet but, come weigh day next week, if I have put weight on, I'm ashamed to say that I don't know if I can keep up the non-smoking thing (at least until I get to my target weight).

Even though I'm at goal weight, I do find it hard to keep it off.
I'll let you know how I lost 35lbs 2 years ago.
I follow the slimming world diet, green days, mostly, but also the mix and match. I tried the weight watchers diet, but couldn't manage on 18points - being small (5ft 1/2inch), never had any more points to play with!!
I liked the sw diet, as you don't have to count portions/calories etc. you just have to know which foods are 'free' and which are not!
My basic daily diet:
Breakfast - Sultana Bran or Porridge or Weetabix or if I'm not v. hungry, a banana
Lunch - pitta bread + low fat hummous, or homemade frittatta (will give you the recipe if you pm me) or salad + quorn slices + coleslaw.
Dinner - any vegetarian meal eg. last night I had salad + veg fajitta's (not sure how to spell that!) or quorn fillet + veg or salad etc..
Snacks - fruit (lots of it, am mad on blackberries this week), golden wonder lites (try to keep it to one bag), tesco brand crispy chocolate orange bars (try to keep to one bar, but sometimes I fail miserably)!!

I do put weight back on, but as soon as I do, I try and be strict with myself.

I lost 1 1/2 pounds this week!! Only 1/2 pound til I've lost a stone!

I have got my WW weigh in tomorrow, am hoping to have lost a couple of pounds then I will have dropped by half a stone....fingers crossed :rolleyes2

good luck with next weeks weigh in,it is hard to keep 2 things on track-dieting and not smoking, that is hard going.You are very determined and i know you will lose those few pounds left. i tell you, you have kept me going a few times! just by looking at your diet tracker since January. you need to congratulate yourself on what you have achieved so far and keep that determination. :goodvibes

Hi Tracy,well done on losing and getting to your goal weight. I follow ww points plan, it seems to work for me. my sister was also on the points plan, but didnt seem to be losing any weight.she has now joined slimming world and what a difference that has made. she is losing the lbs now! well done for being so in control of your weight!

Sorry i havnt posted for some time but you know how it is. :guilty:
Well done to all you losers you have done really well. its nice to see that everyone is still talking and encouraging each other. I have been reading but just not posting. my weight loss as been up and down. I now weight 14st 4lb from 18st 8lbs so i think i have done well. My goal was to get to 14st before my hols in 10 weeks so i think im on track. Its getting really hard now as the weight loss has slowed down. All you larger ladies dont get dishearted when the this happens as i found two weeks of slow weight loss means the third week is good. i have just brough all new shorts size 16 for my hols and i feel brill. i even wore a skirt the other day in the hot weather something i hadnt done in years. i am a bit self concoius of stretch marks on calfs but all i think is kirsty you have lost 4 1/2 stone

good look over next few weeks and happy hols to those going shortly.

i know what you mean by weight "being up and down" :rolleyes:
you are doing so well, and are on track to break through the 14stone by your holidays, and a great incentive to keep going is getting into smaller clothes :)

thanks netty for kind words couldnt have done it without support from these boards. it has helped me a great deal. i couldnt wait to post my weight loss some sunday. i used to wait with itchy fingers until you posted first post....
