 HAPPY WEDNESDAY!

Kate started school today!!

WOO HOO!!! :cool1:

She didn't want me to walk her to her class today...*sniff,sniff*

It was just 3 years ago that she made me walk her to class everyday for the first week....:sad2:

I am pretty sure she is getting a phone this year for christmas..I hate dropping her off at school and not knowing if she actually MADE it inside!!
I need to cut the umbilical cord..but it is very, very hard!!:sad1:

Cool. I wonder how come the G's didn't get theirs today!?

Enjoy.

It's like Christmas and Halloween and Easter all wrapping up in one...even brussel sprouts are good today!

:yay: Hi RJ! I officially started my Christmas shopping today! Did not want you to feel left out.

Catalog shopping counts right!?

Got back from a 1 1/2 hour meeting with the Booster Club, team coaches and parents. Information was given out...I signed up (for GOD knows what) note to self, better check on that
I am now feeling overwhelmed.....my brain kinda hurts too! :headache: :rotfl2:

I didn't get yours or Beanos text till this morning..we went to bed EARLY. EARLY last night...

(except Betsy in Hi-Def..that, aint so good!! Need a good plastic surgeon!!)

got's me a video! that "training video" from Mission Space made me claustrophobic in my own tv room! The sound bites were especially funny. Job well done Sir Beano.

AGAINAGAINAGAIN!

Sounds like a great production, Beano! :thumbsup2

So, what do we think Annie is doing right now? I can't believe she hasnt checked in.

:dance3: Howdy all - we're BAAAAACCCKKK!!!! Landed at BWI a little after 9 pm last nite, after picking up the luggage & driving home it was a few minutes after 11:00 when we got home - FELL into bed around 11:45. I have laryngitis or something (started yesterday). Guess I screamed too much on the rides?! :rotfl:

Had a great time - AWESOME weather all week - it was mid-90's with the usual humidity so it was stifling HOT but no rain all week!! First time I've ever been to WDW w/o rain!! I wanted to check in a couple of times last week but we really didn't stop long enough for me to have time!! Our last 2 days were a real push - Animal Kingdom for character breakfast at 8:10 then stayed there until 2:00 or so (DS's new fav. ride is Expedition Everest which we rode 4 times that day). Then we did Epcot for late opening. Our last full day on Wed. was Typhoon Lagoon at 8:00 for early opening, done by 10:30. Back to the room to change then on to the Magic Kingdom for a few hours then went to MGM for late opening & were there until like midnight so we could be sure to hit Rock N Roller Coaster & Tower of Terror one more time! I am BEAT!! I was falling asleep during the 3D Muppet show!! I kept switching shoes & sandals but have this gianormous blister on the bottom of my left heel & a small one on the bottom of a toe on my right foot...knees & feet are swollen....but ready to go again!!

I didn't even finish off my "travel size Captain Morgan" 'cuz we didn't stop long enough!!:confused3 I can usually polish that off in a day or two!! I had a few drinks by the pool but it was so-o hot that my body really needed water & I kept getting those heat exhaustion headaches - so didn't think the Captain was gonna help those go away! We were true commandos tho - did several late openings which hindered trying to do the early openings... The Princess & Pirate Party was cool - were able to do lots of rides & the fireworks were spectacular - could see them ALL OVER 'cuz they were put off from different points around the park.

We stayed at Old Key West (our first DVC trip). Not really overly impressed with it. The grounds were pretty but it's starting to show its age & the hike to the main pool was horrid & we thought the bus stops were few & far between so we probably won't stay there again unless we're trying to save on points like we did this year. It was OK but we didn't walk in & say "Wow this is nice". We went over to Saratoga Springs & toured the models for both Saratoga & Animal Kingdom Villas yesterday while we were waiting to leave. The models for AKV were BEAUTIFUL...really liked the one bedroom layout. I'd really like to add-on there - get enough points to stay there every other year - a Savannah view would be nice but maybe a standard would be OK since we don't spend much time in the room - but DH isn't bending on purchasing more points yet!! Hey TZM or Ophie - we didn't ask a ton of questions 'cuz we were on a time crunch, but do you know what the "standard" unit is? The "Value" units are smaller & don't have the pull-out chair, right? The "Savannah View" is self explanatory but was just wondering, is the "Standard" view like of the pool or something? I could live with that. I'm a big dreamer huh?!:rolleyes1

The bus system was awful this trip - I'm gonna have to write to Guest Communications & the Transportation Dept. & complain. We spent so-o much time trying to get from point A to point B (another reason I didn't spend any time on the internet - we felt so rushed whenever we were getting ready to go somewhere 'cuz we knew it would take forever.) The nite we went to AKL to have dinner at BOMA it took us 1 hour and 45 min. to get there!!!! Our ressies were at 7:30 & we left our room at 6:05 but didn't get there until 7:45!! We took the water taxi to DTD 'cuz we figured at least it had a schedule. Then we waited there forever for a bus to AKL. We were very frustrated.

Anyway, good to be home I guess - missed ya'll!!!! The cats made a few messes (spilled some plants & stuff) so I gotta clean up after them & the laundry is gonna take me all weekend! Gotta go to the school at 2:00 to find out DS's teacher assignment....will check in again later!!

There she is! I didnt realize you were coming back last night. I thought you were staying longer. Hmmm?

Well, Im glad you had a good trip despite the little issues. :thumbsup2

Yep. Only went for 7 n. of non-stop GO, GO, GO!!!!! RUN, RUN, RUN!!! RIDE, RIDE, RIDE!! :)

The biggest issues were the buses...and the swollen feet/blisters...but we still had a blast! DS was really into his VMK quests the first few days...then we moved on to finding hidden Mickeys (got pictures of 40 of them (DH just mowed the yard and put one in the back!:goodvibes). I really want more points so we can go again! :rotfl: Have you seen the AKV models? Ahhh...gorgeous... I AM SICK IN THE HEAD!! (and I am currently making up for lost drinking time...Margaritas with a touch of Grand Marnier and 1800 are on the menu for this fine evening....) (If I was talking to you right now I think I might have just slurred that one...)
