I'm gonna live...but I'm pretty ticked at myself.

Today my neighbor took the kids bowling and while they were gone I washed the floors (all my pre trip cleaning). Our house is a split and we have tile at the front entranace and bottom landing.

I then was in my office working and I saw Colt was running up the front walk. I got up to go meet him, to see how it was and everything and forgot the tile was wet. I wiped out.

I'm not quite sure if I blacked out or not, I banged my head really good. My neighbor who came to help thinks I did. I have some cuts, bumps and bruises but the worst is my left knee. I just cant bend or unbend it without excruciating pain. Under normal circumstances I would have waited it out before getting it checked, but with a trip so close I didnt want to chance anything.

But nothing is broken and I just have to deal with it. They didnt even give me any good drugs for this pain, just crutches and an ace bandage. I should be ok without the crutches by Friday our first park day, but Im just hoping the knee is bendable. Getting in rides like Splash Mt and RNR is gong to be tough.

Oh NO! I am so sorry!! That really, really sucks!! Get some Aleve for the swelling & Motrin for the pain!! (I have arthritis & I double up on 'em all the time when it's bad - esp. right before bed so I can rest.) If you're not up to walking on Fri. then you should rent a wheelchair or make it a short day by the pool... I know you've got a lot to do the next couple of days but try to stay off of it (let the ironing go or something)! Did they recommend ice packs or anything?! I sure hope you have a speedy recovery!

Nothing from Johnna yet? Too bad we werent at the same hospital. I could have checked on her last night.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. I'm sore all over today, but I figure that will get better from her on in. And yes, I have directions of 20 minutes of ice 3-4 times a day and tylenol or motrin. Of course I just bought new tylenol because we were out and I packed it so now I'm unpacking....UGH!

We will have the new 2009 F-150 out next year but probably not until later in the summer. Of course if there is any info that you want on the truck I will be happy to get it for you. The link below has some spy photos but they are camoflaging the vehicle pretty well.
