Hey gang! Just checking in. Hope you all had a great 4th. Mine was uneventful....ran a quick errand, worked, and went to my parents for birthday cake for my niece.

This weekend we have a 4th of July party to go to on Saturday, then the real birthday party for my niece on Sunday. Busy Busy Busy!

Weekend plans...hmm...Mom is flying in today. Gotta pick her up in Oakland. Hope baby comes early - otherwise she will just be here driving me crazy. Gotta get that crib put together (Neil) and finish getting that room in order. Other than that...lotsa waiting around.

Worked on Cruise scrapbook yesterday. Makes me wanna go again. And again. I wonder if I could just live there? Oh I guess at some point it would get repetitive. Maybe.

OK- have a few reports to do for work. Then off to the aeropuerto. Talk to you all later. Have a good day!

That's what I said. It one of DH's friend who is having the party and the invitation said "4th of July party" then "when ... July 7". I pointed out to DH that wasn't very bright! I think it was just an excuse to have a cookout this weekend. Any excuse for a party, I guess.

Who the h%&@ has been making DVD demands? They have no right to do that. Let them make the DVD then next time. Then we can get on them about how it is not as good as a BeanoC Production. The nerve of some people!

He told me today " I finished the wedding DVD" and i inquired when it was being sent...saying "I hate waiting"...NEVER, NEVER DID I DEMAND THE DVD..today was the first I had heard about it being near done!!

Was Annie venturing off to the wild blue yonder of camping this weekend?

Hi - no camping YET!! We took the day off and did our day trip to Paramount's Kings Dominion down in Sue Ellen's neck of the woods in VA yesterday....it's 110 miles from us so we drove down for the opening at 10:30 & closed the park at 10:00 & drove back! We had light traffic (for this area) and it was perfect weather - about 90 but low humidity - so we were hot but the water rides & waterpark area felt good! Sue Ellen - we didn't see any problem with the park personnel or other customers - we thought it was in pretty good shape really! Actually, there was some big Christian concert going on last nite so there were a LOT of youth groups with their matching shirts & stuff walking around. You had me a bit worried about it going downhill, but compared to the last time we went to 6 Flags up here in MD it was great! (6 Flags had some skeevy customers & we were uncomfortable there)! They could've used a few more trash cans as the trash in the lines started piling up by 7 or 8 pm and they didn't have all of their large overhead fans running in the lines which would've been useful... But overall, we had a great time - DS must've said "Mom, I love you...Dad, I love you" about 50 times (which I think is code for "thanks for bringing me")!! Sue Ellen - we rode Shock Wave twice, Volcano Blast twice (that's a cool ride) and the Rebel Yell both backwards and forwards (that's such a great old coaster - but the backwards direction really hurt our necks - I swear I felt vertabrate crunching together)!


We are tentatively planning to go camping at the beach NEXT weekend - we are watching the extended weather forecast. Right now there's a 60% chance of storms for next Sat. - not exactly camping OR beach weather...so we'll decide in a few days when the forecast is hopefully more accurate! MEANWHILE, we are about to get your really hot CA weather here! It's supposed to get mid to upper 90's here now thru at least next Wed or Thurs - but it comes here with like 100% humidity!

OK, I slept in so I need to get moving now....
