10 years ago today I was awakened early on a BEAUTIFUL Sunday morning on what turned out to be the most perfect 80 degree not-a-cloud-in-the-blue-sky day by my little DS kicking his way out of my womb...(i.e. water broke @ 7 AM while I was still asleep...) WHAT a way to wake up!! Then after he'd busted thru that he got all-l-l-l-l stubborn & wouldn't budge...then around 9:15 pm the Doc says "We're goin' in after him"... Now, 10 yrs later....still stubborn.....still kickin'....and still my only DS....

RJ - I have a neighbor who put in some bamboo flooring in his basement - looks gorgeous! Swiffers are the bomb - they simply AMAZE me how much stuff they can pick up 2 seconds after I sweep.... scary how much stuff is left behind!!!!!

I was just thinking I gotta get my carpets cleaned. And the air ducts - before we turn the air on this summer. It's looking like next week its gonna get HOT!

My parents are coming from WV this eve. for the weekend (make-up trip since we all got sick over Easter & had to cancel). Re-cleaned the house over the past couple of nites from last weekends guests...have DS's (Jared) laser tag b-day party tonite (thanks for his b-day wishes)....hummm....maybe a whole lot of nothing tomorrow (visiting w/ my parents).....if it were nice I could sit outside on the patio & sun myself....but NO-O-O....gotta have crappy weather (50's) instead....

Lets see...tomorrow we have 2 soccer games, 2 baseball games, and a birthday party to go to. But it looks like the games will get rained out so I might actually get some stuff done around this dump that I call a house. Its time to start changing the clothes over in the closests...my most hated job! And of course I'll be working during any spare time this weekend too.

So I have a fun and exciting weekend ahead. Anyone else?

First it was gonna be "just a couple of days" to install the new floors. Now it's another week.

Then, the idiots who were supposed to be here at 9AM to install a new front door didn't show up at all, and when we call them, they say they have no record of it. Well, the door was made-to-order, so what did you do with it? Eat it? Burn it? Make a table out of it?
